Thread: Transferring ownership AND title to current map subscriptions

I have the log-in details (ttgo.bif and the previous owners username & password on an SD card {although not the actual device}) from a "previously owned" NAV2 device (Colin, you know what I'm talking about) which I still use to get a particular map subscription and although I know I could re-register the device in my own name via TTHome I'm not too sure if the map subscriptions for that device would also be transferred to me or would I lose them.
I would have thought the subscriptions were always (or should be) tied to the specific device irrespective of who originally bought them and who now owns the device but just need reassurance before I take the plunge with the possibility of losing a further 2 years of map subs. I'd rather not ask TT support directly "just in case" but certainly don't want to lose the long subscription.

Any first hand knowledge about this from you guys & gals?
