Is it possible to use SCDB.info Speedcam Worldwide for TT with this version or other TomTom Android version?
Re: Can you import an OV2 file into this TomTom Go Navigation (latam) version?
In all Go Navigation versions, this is no longer possible. (In Go Mobile it is)
Only routes you can import (synchronize with mydrive on your pc) .
You cannot use SCDB files in any TomTom product.
Hi.
Just a ( stupid ? ) question.
Is there someone who got a version of Tomtom NDS working on an older Android ?
I tried several versions on my unit with Android 6.0.1 with Intel x86 API23 , installs fine but after first launch it got stuck on the screen that ask we need your location etc...tab yes or no.
After yes nothing happens anymore, it does not go further.
Only thing I can do is go back and tab close the application.
Maybe it does not work on x86 ?
WIFI is on and very good signal.
Not a stupid question
Platform is not a problem, it works without problems on arm7. I know it used to work on Android 6, but I'm not sure about this edition, I haven't had such an old device with me for a long time. It should work from Android 5 onwards, but ...
The main question - does your device have a GPS receiver at all? Or maybe it is just missing some functions in the system.
In fact, it might be an unsupported processor/chipset. Etc ...
Edit:
You wrote X86
Intel? Not supported.
Only armeabi-v7a and/or arm64-v8a. It applies to all TomTom Android software
@ Boki
I remember I had Tomtom Go from Deltafox running great in the past , it still has no crashes but it does not update maps anymore and no traffic and speedcams but no problems installing on the same unit.
And yes, it has gps of course, are there head units without ? No problems with iGO.
There are more such devices than you think
Unfortunately, the GO is no longer usable and new applications support only ARM architecture
I also had the tomtom speedcam app installed, nice app, light and simple.
Stopped working also and it is replaced bij Amigo but cannot install that one also.
Reply from Tomtom....AmiGO is made for smartphone and tablet, not for headunits.
Well, most Chinese headunits are just Android tablets.
I know, you mentioned here - [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
This version did notify new map for updating. However, after doing map updating , the newly updated map remains the same version if we check the "About" menu.
And you're the first to notice that.
Congratulations :classic:
