The app does not work very good on a Head Unit besides it's an old version of android .......:shake:

It works with me with samsung s8. But with car android head ,it accept installing but during starting it does not down load map and after a few second it gives unfortunately APP has stopped. Mean while the old version 1.96 it works good

Some older versions of NDS worked but not on every Head Unit.

There is not much that can be done to get around your problem.
TomTom does not support any Head Unit.
Be lucky it works with v1.9.6

Maybe try a different GPS app on your Head Unit.

Plus if you had it working with v1.9.6 why didn't install v3.2.12 over it if you had all the maps????

If you used the MOD version that would not work to install over it.

The last MOD was v1.9.6.2

Maybe your phone is OS more up to date but your head unit isn't ?????

Well, it gave me a weird scare when I installed it

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Android 9.

I use TTA GO (Dafox) and TTA NDS on the SD

I'm going to overwrite TTA NDS (since they are all from the same source, incidents have never happened to me) and it tells me no ... ??

I try again and no ...

Will the apk have screwed up? weird nens zip it up ...

I download it from another site and it keeps saying no.

Since I have an account, I don't lose places if I uninstall.

I uninstall thoroughly, check and turn off the device (I considered putting a candle to the patron saint of drivers ... but no)

Start, install and go.

Why hasn't it worked for the first time as always? I don't know, I use it since the first version and this had never happened to me, so I had to apply the "magisterial formula"

You need to uninstall any other version of NDS before installing this version, but once you have installed this version you can over install the next updated version " in other words they MUST be the same version TomTom NDS 3.x.xx-latam.xxxx"

I've always done it like this, lately 38, 48, and I had v3.1.75-latam.b.4111 etc all "latam", although from other sources they have the same size (in fact they should be "untouched") so in August I get off the nenadsen.
Be careful, it was still very hot and it threw me off ehhhh.
Things always happen, right now with TTA GO 1.18.01 in Samsung after a security patch, the staff is stopped by the application with the TTS voice.

It is best to do a clean install every time to insure all will work correctly.

One thing I have never done is have more than one GPS app on a phone at any one time.
There is no way I will install the old TOMTOM GO on the same phone with NDS version.

Also the old TomTom Go app has been discontinued some time ago.

Plus if you are going to have more than one make sure you turn off the one or ones you are not needing in Settings, Apps.

It's your choice, I do Tomtom NDS, Tomtom Amigo, Sygic and Google Maps on one phone. So it makes no difference and have fun :bigmouth:

Yon can only use one GPS at a time anyway..........

You free up memory plus some users do have conflict with more than one TomTom app installed.

It was advice for anyone who wants it.

When I read all the types of problems users run into a lot of it has to do with all the different app that were installed on their phone at any one time.
I keep my phones neat and clean and repeat have never ran in one problem.

Even the fact that I only have GPS app on my phone I still shut it off.
I have tested this with it left in memory and not in memory.

My battery drops fast over night with it still in memory vs not in memory.
