TomTom NDS MOD

The IQ has to do with your drive.

So to be correct this has to do with driving from point A to B and updates any part of the map that is needed.
Plus a data connection will be need to get these updates as you drive.

It has to know where you are drive in the first place........

is it possible to obtain information about gps satallites in this version ? for example count of visible satellites and signal strength ?
I cannot find it

Use this app with TomTom NDS it will give you all the details you need about visible satellites.....

I asked for this function in Tomtom NDS, not in other application, I used igo, garmin, and clasic TT navcore before and they have this info

This option is not available in TT NDS.

I would be nice if there more positive input from user about this NEW TomTom MOD
Instead of users finding things they do not like in the MOD version or what is not there.
As for seeing visible satellites and signal strength why??
Once you are driving you are not going to check on visible satellites and signal strength.
When the GPS app locks on to the satellites and plots your route from A to B is all you need.
If you lose satellites it is either you are in a zone of tall building or under Trolley overhead electric cables.
But as you drive the signal will be picked up again.
It is the same when you drive in a tunnel the signal is lost but is picked up when you exit the tunnel.......

It is not important to check on signal strength once you have lock on to the satellites and you are driving......

How about @gsmmania giving some input as to how the New TOMTOM MOD is working for you and all the new items that have been added to the app.
In what way are you using it by car or truck?????
What have you found in the new app you like???

I installed on my alcatel 1SE smartphone without problems.
Did the first test drive today and the results are very nice.
Launching is very quick as is the search and calculation the route and recalculating.
It runs very smoothly without hickups.

Traffic is OK as it should be.

What I dont't like is the flickering screen when approaching a redlight cam etc but it can be switched off but there is no spoken warning , or did I miss a setting somewhere ?
Also no spoken warning as turn left, turn right etc.
Voice does work when I check it in settings > sound and on route when I approach a dangerous part of the road I get a spoken warning.

I also dislike the big blue signs always on the top for the next turns. Not a problem but it could be smaller, now it covers almost a third part of the sceen, specially in landscape mode it covers
part of the buttons on the left part of the screen.

But ... it's very good.

There is a way to make it smaller:
Go to phone settings, enable developer mode (google it). Than open settings/additional settings/developer options/ and search for "smallest width". Play with it, for me, on Xiaomi MiMax3 the best value is 392 dpi, the banner it's smaller and the other information are big enough so i can read them.
This is the only solution i find for now, until TT will do something about it. Hope it helps. Credits to NicuT.
As for the spoken warnings, be sure that is checked Settings/Sound/Visual,sound and spoken. Spoken will work only if you have TTS enabled. Also check all in Settings/Sound/Guidance messages.

What do you think of the truck routes? I think you don't mind the restrictions!I checked the destination Leverkusener Brucke, Leverkusen, D and it routes me wrong, there is a ban for the truck!
