UPDATE v2.0.5
Post 20
Spoiler: Changelog
Does 2.0.5 FIX anything:
Giant sign board gone.
Better screen contrast so on can read street names.
Stability back?
Mass map download. For USA one has to individually tap 56 times.
Volume slider returned?
Traffic working?
MyDrive route downloads back?
MyDrive custom POI's back?
I use it for work and 2.0.1 was not work ready. Haven't tried any new ones as it performs a destructive install of 1.18.1. I would play with 2 if i could run in tandem with 1.
@schneid,
You should know the answers to those question already.
Same questions asked at TomTom Forum.
Here nothing can be done with the app.
I am a bit disappointed with this new version of TomTom Go. They promise a big change, but I have not seen much special in this new version. In the search for places I did not expect a big change, but certainly in real navigation such as in particular advanced Lane Guidance and the autoroute turns and exits, such as this in Navigon or Garmin for example.
Or are these still to be expected in the next updates.

Hi all,
After completing the trial period of one month I'm trying to subscribe to a plan and the app. won't let me. When it comes to "Choose a plan" "Loading subscriptions" it immediately comes up with the message "Oops ! Something went wrong. Try again." I try again and again and ........... to no avail. Is there something else to do? Am I missing something? It's odd especially when I trying to pay!
Thanks.
Ted
@tedmartin Are the settings in Google Play Store correct?
What I mean is this; is your Play Store linked to a creditcard or your telco provider?
@rth741 I think you can forget the beautiful guidance like Navigon had. She will never have a TT impression
@TedMartin,
If you have problems with setup a subscriptions you need to take that up with TomTom direct.
There is nothing anyone can do here on this forum to help you with that.
Seeing that this app has not been fully released it could be part of your problem.
Post your problems here:
Spoiler: Tomtom forum for the new TomTomGO
Understood. I only asked in case someone else was having the same problem. I've already posted in the TomTom forum.
Thanks.
@rth741, I hear you brother!
Been using Navigon since the days of Iphone 5s, possible the best navigation app ever. It was so much advanced those days - Junctionview, dynamic lane guidance, 3d panorama view....Sadly, android version was complete cr@p comparing to iOS. But believe it or not, I'm still using it though quite rare these days. It's the only app I can follow by voice instructions with screen off even with complicated, multi exists on highway. Never let me down. I would very much to see Navigon back from the dead, but I don't believe this will ever happen.
Back to TomTom, there may be some good news after all:
Code:Thank you very much for your feedback so far! Rest assured, we're listening to all of them and you'll see this with upcoming updates this year.
We will continue to support GO Mobile with the latest maps for the time being. GO Navigation is in a staged rollout and becoming available to more users based on performance and quality indicators.
