    Difference is the following:

    - Improved graphics
    - You can download countries separately bot regions like with the TT GO
    - Continuous update
    - App downloads only what is new not the whole package all over again

    You can not.
Oreo behaves differently. All data is stored in the system partition, you can not access it unless you have a routed phone.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

I have not tried this on my P20 lite.
But have tried it on my P8 lite android v 6.01

There is a folder in \Android\data\com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds\files\pois <----------this folder

I put one .ov2 file there and when I went to start I got a message about an import for My Places.

When I went to check My Places the POI I added was there.

It listed all the Aldi's from which I could pick.

It does not show all of stores on the map.

Like I said I have not installed it yet on my P20 lite so you will have to check if you have this location.

Thanks, I already try that it work on my Tab A Nougat but don't work on S7 Oreo every files reside on \data\data not on \Android\data.
