    Hi Frans57

this is copied from the official Deltafox website that I thank

    1) install the app from Google Play store. <--------DO THIS FIRST !!!!!!
    2) run it, close. <----------------------------------DO THIS BUT do not download any Maps or Voices
    3) uninstall from Application Manager. <-------------THEN THIS BUT do not uninstall it with The Google Store !!!!!!
Please note do not use 3rd party uninstallers only use what came with your phone or tablet......
    4) install Tomtom_Go_Navigation&Traffic Patched <--NOW THIS
    5) restart phone

You are ready to go now get your maps and voices.

I note that a step has not been complied with in fact it is necessary to download the maps after the installation of the patched version and not with the original version.

    try again and good luck

PS: This method is no longer valid Thank you for using the Rusigor Post # 14

Having the same problem with a Chinese head unit. From what I have read android serial number on these units is to long, Tomtom server only accepts 12 digits. If you root device and use a serial number changer it should then be able to connect to TT servers. I cannot confirm because I have not been able to root my headunit but I can confirm it has a stupidly long serial number.

Tomtom has changed the servers to download the maps and Tomtom Go 1.17 no longer works. Is it possible to send a new version of Tomtom Go 1.17 with the patch for this problem? Best....

    Hello to all...
I'm not a big fan of TT but is really good... I found that, from another forum...

    installation instractions from @rusigor

    1 - install original (from g-play)
2 - launch app, go though settings, wait till list of maps appears. Don't switch off app at this point!
3 - launch file manager, navigate to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp and copy it to different folder
4 - now exit GO, and uninstall it from app-manager
5 - install patched version from here. Don't launch it!
6 - back to file manager - find your saved com.tomtom.gplay.navapp and put it back to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/
7 - now launch app, go to list of maps - and download which you want.
    that's really works...
