Unfortunately for us, that's the way it is with everything in life, just when we got used to it a bit and learned something good, then they abolish it like everything else, they get us a little better, so I'm gone. i don't know how to do it if i knew and if someone had taught me i would have continued unlocking still but like this there sygic i really liked it but it looks like we have to go back to garmin or google maps while they are still free.

If users can not understand how it work by now I find it strange.

It is not like the last version posted here will stop working.
It will not.
All mentaljim saying he is not going to do it anymore.
Users need to respect that from him.
He owes user nothing at all.

If users can not spare 14.00 Euro for the Sygic app then you have other problems.

When you look around at all the companies that have failed since the virus hit and will never be back.
The least you users can do is support the Sygic Company by buying the damm app.

If that is not good enough then learn how to program and make your own personal patched version you can use for yourself.

I think every user here should thank mentaljim for giving you the chance to test the app out for as long as you want.

Hello all
Is there a way to remove No-Drive zones in sygic truck 21.0.0 app have downloadet TA maps and there is a lot of No-Drive zones on the map Even there where truck can drive

Long time ago I bought Sygic GPS World with Traffic lifetime. I am not using it since it is "UNUSABLE", routing it to say at least questionable. Here in Germany Sygic GPS is useless. I bought to support Sygic but I it is useless. On the other Hand Sygic Truck is very very very good.

Routing is great, options, TT traffic etc. If that is true what they are saying with transition from Here to TT maps hmm I believe that is a hara-kiri. TomTom is still not good enough for European Truck market especailly NON-EU part.

Sygic needs to reconsider this decission ASAP.

I have done many tests with Sygic app running it next to my Garmin DriveSmart 61.
Both set to go from Brussels to Bremen Germany.
They both to the same route Highway to Highway.

These tests go back to when I was using my Garmin Nuvi 2595 with much older versions of Sygic.

They always got me to my destination in Bremen and back to Brussels.

Then using it while in Germany in the Ardennes and Eiffel areas.
Again it has gotten me to some of the most remote hotels.
Then getting me back when we where out exploring the area for hiking.

So I do not understand why some users have problems with Sygic app.

More detailed info about the problems one has encountered while using the Sygic app.

Yes, sygic is much more cheaper than iGO. BUT truck is much more expensive and better app.

also:

More than 3 years! there is no update for israel map.
Also, no traffic in israel.

so the app is like for testing purposes.
I use it only to validate the route I get from iGO.

The problem with Sygic is that not all versions route the same.
Sygic likes to experiment with this.
This is how the many different opinions come about.
In order to be able to trace errors, you should always write the Sygic version and, in the event of problems, also test a different version.

Maybe I'm in minority here, but I don't have any sympathy for Sygic. Their focus is clearly on "fleet management" not so much on individual truck drivers. We have 37 licenses, and all I can say they have become more and more greedy year after year. Everything now is module based. You want this feature, it's an additional module....

I really liked the app when launched (been using it since 2013 I believe), and I remember the days when Sygic Truck was my THE navigation having it all: Google Street View, online search, Tripadvisor/Foursquare/Viator integration, amazing lane guidelines with green arrows (similar to TomTom), not this dynamic crap.... so for me, throughout all these years they were just cutting on features until they became completely offline navigation, similar to tons of others only with eye-candy looks. Moving to TA maps is final nail in their coffin. I wonder what will be their justification for steep price, as in their official comments they say Navteq license is much more expensive comparing to TA... should we expect significant price drop? Not a chance!
