Last 20.6.2's map update was done on NT.

If you have a look on Google/Youtube - you will see that the Dev team that make Sygic apps are just a small'ish team with a fairly small office. These guys need to make money to stay in business and if they don't make money, there will be no Sygic apps at all to get updates. I would suggest that most people have had a long time to 'try' the full versions and what they have to offer to see if they like them of not. I also suggest that those that can afford to pay for the app - just pay Sygic the money for a licence as it's not that expensive and there's always deals on to get one cheap & you don't need to worry about using a cracked version and get updates faster.

Sygic is not a huge team like Microsoft or Google etc, and they have a lot of outgoings like any other business - so as much as I like cracking apps and giving them to people for free, I also understand economics and how to make things sustainable.

Also I think you misunderstood my last post - it's not just Truck I will be stopping modding, it's ALL Sygic apps including Aura. I will just probably do a release on Aura when support for Android Auto is out of beta releases, and that will be my final release. So as much as this will pain some people - in the long run it will be beneficial for more people.

I root for Sygic as it´s a very good satnav and I am patriotic (I am half Slovakian and in the past have lived 1km far away from Sygic office in Bratislava). Therefore I bought two official Sygic Aura apps for family members. The licence is not expensive, its a good bargain. I was pondering buying licence to Sygic Truck recently due to NT maps official support. Since it seems that Sygic is diverting from NT maps, there is no reason for me to go for it and have two different Sygic apps with the same map base (that was a ground for my faint sigh in previous post - as modded Sygic Truck allows for NT/TA maps) Your big fan, always. So grateful for you having obliged us with your mods for a long time and fully understanding your decision to put an end to it.

mentaljim has given everyone the time to test the sygic app's out. It goes well beyond the 7 day trial period to give every user the chance to test all the features of these apps.
It is time to dig down into your pockets and support the Sygic team with paying for the app of your choice.

You spend hundreds more on your smartphones, tablets and after market head units.

A cost of a case of beer pays for the Sygic app.
A couple of pack of cigarettes pays for the Sygic app.
A couple bottles of a good wine pays for the Sygic app.
And so on.

Yes the truck app cost more but you use it for your company and that is a right off for your company.

You can go direct to Sygic to buy the app and bypass Google altogether.
I think you can do the same with Amazon Store too.

Well, it is said that you do not download anything with the application, especially not maps, it means installing navigation and downloading maps with a downloader that you want to put in a sygic truck or any other restart of the device and after that everything works, I did it a hundred times and everything works ok, you don't read what it says until the end, but as soon as you see that someone made a lot of effort and effort for all the others, you take it off and immediately push it and you would like it to be perfect and you didn't do everything according to the instructions and that's where the problem arises. whoever doesn't like this shouldn't take anything off and don't comment and you can always buy the original for money and then see how it works and whether there will be problems.

Since you stop modding Sygic, could you explain how you make the patch so that another person can continue to patch Sygic.

Sygic isn't a big company in comparisson for example with Google and its programmers do very good job. More Sygic has fair price policy. Anybody can buy at least general licence (maps + traffic).

On te other hand, @mentaljim I have the following idea - Is it acceptable for you, to make a compromise - patch(s) that will extends the general licence (maps + traffic) with some add-ons?

Sygic gets money and we get more features (which we would probably never buy). Thanks for your opinion.

Respect for copyright is certainly important.
However, I doubt that posting unlocked versions on Forums will harm the developers. Part of the users would never have bought the program, and many, myself included, have bought it. Globally there are relatively few downloads. Surely there is a lot of advertising at a low price for the Firm.
The advantage of the unlocked software is not to save a little money, but the ability to customize.
However, it must be admitted that the mentaljim's versions are completely unlocked and too equivalent to the purchased versions.
