    This also has the same notification bug. Please stop posting beta's in this thread- only proper store releases will be patched. Start your own beta thread as these are nothing to do with the thread title or mods by me.

    Thanks.

    In my date.txt file in the Sygic folder(18.5.2/18.5.3) are the number series.. 202014. I get the year(2020).. but what do the 1 and 4 represent? Jan. 4, April 1 ?... and it never changes(over the course of 4+ weeks now).

    @thecrane,

    I have the same info on my test phone.
    Plus everyone should have the same.
    It is just a marker that was setup by mentaljim with the app resetting itself on Monday.
    The point is the app works great with out having to stick my fingers in and edit anything.

    As is spelled out in his posts:

    ID changes each Monday automatically, so you can always have 7 days traffic. This can also be changed manually by editing the date.txt or id.txt files in your Sygic dir. When the ID changes - you may need to restart Sygic for traffic to start working...however I didn't have any issues.

    Hey!
    @thecrane
    In Sygic 18.5.2-there is no date.txt file (in 18.5.3-is)
    The last two numbers (14) mean
    fourteenth week of the year
    and every week they should change,
    that there was traffic.
    it's so fast
    Maybe MrDude will explain it to you better
    Regards

    But again none of this is important to a user.

    If v18.5.3 work just leave it alone.

    Here is info each week:

    @asprin624
    I just like to know how things work... there's no fault in that regardless of whether it's working correctly or not.

    @kopek
    That seems like a plausible explanation.

    SYGIC TRUCK

    Has anybody noticed that with the latest Truck version SPEEDCAMs do not work if there is not internet connection. I was driving and I had my net off hmm it does not warn. I checked everything. I activated my net it voila cameras are there. I do not believe that was the case before. Cameras always works regardless of the connection.

    SAVE
    Is there any way we can backup SAVE folder? In case I have to reinstall Sygic I do not want to set it up again and again.

    Thx

    @Texas,

    Just rename the folders

    Check your internal memory and SD Card.
    After you have renamed the folders then remove the app.

    But make sure you check everywhere there could be a folder before you delete.
    Then restart the phone.
    Then install the app do not start it.
    Then rename the folders back to their correct name.
    Now start the the app.
    You should be good to go.

    Gonna try it.

    and this issue with speedcams, I believe I will revert back to an older version. It makes bo sense to have net all the time. Sometimes it is bot possible.
