Also just tried it on Android 9 and it is installed on the SD card and all is working fine with both apps.

sygic truck is by far better than sygic.

Just try it, and you won't get back to sygic.

As mentioned above, having a proper content.info file is the key to having access to all features.

Although it is possible for certain devices to work like this.

Generally in my recent installs, Android 4, 6 and 7 have installed on external SD card with all features. Android 8 doesn't work properly unless you install an earlier Mr Dude version and then install Ultimate on top of it with an edited content.info file. Of cos, there are exceptions to these experiences but this is what has worked for me on over 6 different devices. I've found many issues are caused by a bad content.info file

MrDude has written there some valuable information, such as : ...... no need to mess about with base folders, etc - just install & go, that's it!
Believe it or not, it´s just as simple.

Mentioned at least twice to install to internal storage, not to an external SD card.
On the other way, @asprin624 has shown it can also be installed on external SD card, which is great to know. But there are all sorts of users here from beginners to masters. Without proper knowledge of the app and android, it is much safer following the main instructions.

On another note, I think I'm going to also re-release the Truck app as I found the problem with activating is on my phone was down to Trebuchet Launcher, this is used as default in Lineage OS, but for some reason when you try to click on the activation page - it minimizes the page and you get stuck in a loop. When I switched to a different launcher app - I didn't encounter this problem, so I'll re-release so people can activate within the app and this saves them needing to download the play store version first, also I found a little bug in a licence patch which was stopping the traffic from working (even if you had a valid licence), so that will also be fixed. See screenshot for info: (Plus fuel prices work in UK - unlike in other Sygic apps).
