Discussion about Sygic editions modified by MrDude

I found a problem, there's very little sound you can choose from so i decided to copy the sounds from 17.x.x version into this. The problem is that the app doesn't show them in the settings. I copy them with correct convert extension .wma from .ogg. What's the issue ?

@milosgbg So you suggest that sygic truck is the best of the rest ? I can give it a try, how about the sound issue that i mentioned ? No sound found in the app.

Where did you go fishing those wma? The rigt format is .ogg, all Sygics work with ogg, both in android and in windows.

I have them in .ogg but when i upload them it did ask me if i want to convert them. I will try now without conversion.

The beauty is you can install both versions and decide for yourself

Without deviating too much from original topic: regular Sygic has never fixed its crucial issue - it will let you drive through restricted roads/walking paths (greyed ones on the map). Just find some large park, select middle of it and see for yourself. Due to my work (deliveries), this is a no go for me! I use Sygic Truck and TomTom GO. Other people may have different preferences.

18.4 Installed and functioning properly.
To install v18.5, do I just have to run v18.5.0 APK over the existing 18.4?

To answer your question.

One is patched the other is an original untouched app.

You can not copy over a patched version with an original untouched app.

Sygic Professional Navigation & Sygic Truck Navigation v.20.0.2(2032)

I'm putting in here just now as a test version, this should be working for those on Huawei and some devices it failed to give the ID on before. Thanks to the people that tested and helped find what was causing the issues (you know who you are :-)).
