I like NOT to be prompted for a map update
I like to BE prompted for a map update
I prefer to be prompted for a map update.
I am not a Master!
I have never considered myself as a Master and had none any pretensions nor desire to be one.
It's the forum mechanism that computes me as such and attaches to me a 'Degree' which I'm certainly not!

For me all I do is delete all the extra info in the maps folder that is not a map folder
or
WCL folder
or
Speedcams folder
I leave content.info
I delete items like localMapList.json or any other this still in the maps folder.
Then I go to the res folder
I delete the online_cache folder
Then I start Sygic again and under Manage maps I go to Start wheel. (upper right hand )
It show I have April 2022 maps installed.
With testing this on 5 r 6 phones I only have to download the maps one time with the downloader and copy them over to the test phones.
Leave it as is that is fine for me.
I prefer the map itself, not the notice of the map, everyone knows when updates are made.
The next free map update in the app is in May. You get 3 a year, the current free map is January. To be honest I don't think the roads round where I live have changed all that much in the last 2 years - although they are building a new housing scheme near me so maybe that will be on the new maps soon.
I feel the same way when it comes to updates of maps.
I have a couple of Garmin GPS's and maybe every 6 months you get an update.
That is fine with me as there is little or no difference in the maps.
If a road is not on the map yet the GPS will take you a different way like it did before.
Not saying that some countries might be adding new roads all the time. (maybe in a new apartment or housing complexes)
But main roads , and highways stay the same for years with very little changes other than maybe adding an extra lane.
The maps that was good in January is just as good in April on Sygic.
In my many test against a Garmin Maps that is 6 months old I have yet to find any differences between the 2 maps.
I compare them all the time when I take long trips.
They show the same route and the same roads.
Also the same with speed camera's the chance you run into a new one is so small on roads you take all the time.
Plus you have no way to know if one is missing on a vacation trip or not.
it doesn't matter for me to know a new release of maps, everyone knows when updates are made, simply by maps downloader or from our site
One question guys I was not using this app recently. Do mobile speedcams work in the latest modded versions? So will Sygic show also mobile speedcams when it has a internet connection or must this feature be still buyed?

This latest AnyMap ST version is so far the best in terms of stability. On the other hand I found soem strange routing issues that I have never seen before.
It keeps leaving main rooad Autobahn doing some extra miles than back to the original route
Many previously unlimited speed Autobahn routes are now 100km maximized.
It goes through the city (Hamburg) in the middle of day instead around like all other nav. sys.
It may be the HERE maps or simply Sygic Routing Alg. AGAIN
P.S What us the lates version of ST that had an option TRAVEL VIA (so we can order interpoint)
IMAGE NO1 - IT goes through the city instead via elb tunnel like any other navi tt included

THIS IS THE RIGHT WAY so it does with TT Maps

Image No.3
ST like this happens wiht no reason

If anybody can share the latest version that has an option TRAVEL VIA (and it works with NT or TT)
