    Default Fix for Sygic 18.3.2

    From mrdude

For those with issues - here's one I modded. No need to download any base files or maps etc - just start the app and it will download the necessary files for you from within the app.

    Sygic-v18.3.2_build_190180302-mod.apk (Has been removed)

This link has been removed by mrdude use the latest link here:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I also unlocked some things that are not available normally - so enjoy! Also being this is a beta - smart bluetooth is broken, I guess Sygic was messing with this (it was working properly in previous releases).

I have tested this setup and it works.

Before you install and start this app version make sure you have removed any version of Sygic from your Phone or Tablet.

Please note so you have a backup of what you have installed rename the folder com.sygic.aura.

The easiest way is just to put an x on the folder xcom.sygic.aura.

That way it will not bee seen with this new patched version.

Install the app but do not start it yet.

Now go to the permissions for this app and give all of it.

There are some tricks to get this to work.

Once you start the app click OK and then skip email.

Now it will look where you are at the time you start this app.

Make sure you have GPS and WIFI on.

Let it do what it needs to do.

If nothing happens then go to setting and pick maps and pick your country.

    It will download it.

Now Sygic is set to use.

    Note:

Once you have it setup they way you like it you then can copy ONLY the maps from the folder xcom.sygic.aura over to the new setup.

DO NOT ADD ANYTHING ELSE !!!!!!

Make sure you shut Sygic off before you do this.

Also if the maps are of a different version do not use them!!!!!!!!

That means also from the downloader program

ONLY download inside the app to get you maps

Again a big thanks to mrdude for fixing this version.

Once everything is working you can delete the xcom.sygic.aura if you want of save it if you want to go back to how you had it with what ever version you are testing with.

    UPDATE:

Although the app apparently works well, there is a problem with it when it's connected to Android Auto. When connected to Android Auto, the map automatically goes into landscape mode and cannot be adjusted. Also, the 3 small lines at the top of the app (for settings, download maps, etc) is gone and cannot be found. At the same time, there is no way to close out of the app when attached to Android Auto. So, there is no misunderstanding, I am referring to using the app on my phone. Never had this problem before. I use AA for my BT connections (phone) and music (google play). Is there anyway to fix this?

Where does it say it will work with Android Auto??

As of yet there is not one 3rd party GPS app that will work with Android Auto.

Sygic will work with MirrorLink see below.

Plus it is also stated that there is a problem with BlueTooth with this version.

I have been using Sygic for quite some time on my Android phone. I have always connected my phone to AA...the Sygic program has been used on my Android...not with AA...neither interfered with each other.

PS...Just read the first entry...Shame that BT is not working. I'll have to go back to v. 8.14

Good day. I would like to consult those who have installed Sygic 18.3.2 by Meendoo. I tried to do it, too. It works, but when I checked each file, I found that there was only one nameshistory.dat file in the Android directory. There is no file in the RES directory in the sounds subdirectory. I miss the RUPI (or import) subdirectory in the Maps directory. It may copy this directory from the old version, or it is useless. Each map file is duplicated with the .crc extension. Well thank you
