    @majstorcina,

    See that this is your first post you have not taken the time to read much.........

    If you installed it correctly the speed cam file will download.

    Check your \Maps folder for a folder \speedcams\ in there is a file called offlinespeedcams.dat

    The same with World Sygic Customs Offlinespeedcams you have to manual put the file in the \Maps\speedcams\

    Replacing the one that was downloaded.

    Go back over everything you have done..........

    help

    For me, it does not work. Using OnePlus 5 phone.
    I have followed the instructions exactly, double checked everything!

    Here's what I did:

    1. download everything
    2. copied folder "com.sygic.incar", pasted it in the root of the drive, in "This PC\ONEPLUS A5000\Internal shared storage"
    3. used "Sygic PC maps DOWNLOADER - [TomTom & HERE EU 2018.09]_v2.zip" to download a map and pasted it's folder in "This PC\ONEPLUS A5000\Internal shared storage\com.sygic.incar\files\Maps"
    4. installed the apk on the phone - and app does not start

    Here's what's wrong:

    I start Sygic from it's icon, the app seems to start, but then it exits in a second and displays error "Missing Sygic data". I guess Sygic cannot find the folder "com.sygic.incar", even if it is definitely there!

    I also tried to delete folder and uninstall v18 app and install older v17 versions of folder and app, but those too, cannot acces their internal storage folders.

    Is there anything I could try?

    Yes, try reading instructions. Copy folder "com.sygic.incar" in android/data folder in device root.
    You must download not only a map, but also wcl folder (basemap) of release TT v9.0.

    "Missing Sygic data" error means that the system don't find data becouse of they're copied in wrong site.

    @ags,

    Again a first time user does not read older versions of this app.

    Try starting with v18.0.1

    Try this link:

    Ah, you were right. I did not notice I have to also download the "wcl" folder.
    I used option 3 in "Sygic PC maps DOWNLOADER - [TomTom & HERE EU 2018.09]_v2.exe" to download TOMTOM v9 maps and wcl. Also tried with HERE maps and TOMTOM not v9.
    I deleted app cache, data, gave all the possible permissions, reinstalled apk... still the same error: "Missing Sygic data".

    Uninstalled 18.0.6, deleted it's resource folder. Tried 18.0.1, followed the instructions. The same error: "Missing Sygic data".

    What am I still missing?

    @ags,

    What version of android are you using on your smartphone?

    Also post a screen shot of your Maps folder.

    I want to see what you have in that folder.

    This is an example of the Maps folder:

    Spoiler: Maps folder
    sO5NPWZ

    Plus on the SD card you need to put the \Andriod\data\com.sygic.incar\files\Maps\

    Do not edit or replace the content.info that came with the app when you downloaded it.

    It is the same layout if you install in the memory of your smartphone.

    It will only work with V9.0 maps!!!!!!!

    I would start over and remove any and all folders on your SD card as well as you phone memory that has something to do with SYGIC

    I am using Android 8.1.0.

    This is a screenshot of my maps folder:
    Spoiler: too large screenshot
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    My phone does not have an SD card, only internal memory.

    I did not edit or change the content.info that came with the app.

    I started over and reinstalled from scratch about 6 times already.

    Hello,
    I added my own ogg alert files for the speedcams in res/sounds and also icons in res/icons/rupi and rupi files in Maps/rupi/esp. It works fine but the alert fires twice which is a bit annoying in some areas.
    I can't figure out how to set the alert to announce only once as I have in 14.3.4 version
    If any one can help I'd be pleased.
    Thx

    @ags,

    I do not see your Android folder or your data folder????????

    Your screen shot shows Storage\ige\com.sygic.incar <----That will never work

    It should be on your smartphone:

    Andriod\data\com.sygic.incar\files\Android\
    Andriod\data\com.sygic.incar\files\Maps\
    Andriod\data\com.sygic.incar\files\res\

    This the only way it will work be it on the smartphone or on the external SD card

    Spoiler: Only way it will work

    Ah, that did it! Thank you very much!
    I don't know why, but I thought that by "Andriod\data" you were trying to say to put it in the data partition in my Android phone.
    So I kept putting the "com.sygic.incar" folder in the root of my data partition, not in "\Android\data". I moved it in the already existing \Android\data\ and problem was solved.
    Thank you for your patience with me.
