    Hi,

This is first time I'm installing Sygic and need some help.

    1. WCL Maps: How do you download the WCL using the PC Maps Downloader since it doesn't have menu option for it? I downloaded TomTom maps using option 1 but it didn't download the WCL maps.

    2. Maps: For future map update or add additional map, can you use the Sygic to download it? Or you must use PC Maps Downloader?

    3. For voice, can you add and use different voice in the Sygpic's setting? Or you must manually download and install it?

    @magi12share,

Look again at the downloader the item WCL is there. (Item 8)

You use the downlader each time

All the TTS voices are there look in Android\data\com.sygic.aura\files\Res\tts_info

To setup a TTS voice go to Settings:

    Notifications and Sounds

    Voice

Pick English US or what one you want.

Then go to the upper right and tap on the 3 dots

    Configure Android TTS

Download the voice or voices you want.

    You are set to go.....

Thanks for your help. Hmmm that's interesting. On my side, when I run PC Maps Downloader, I only see items from 1 - 4. I even try typing 5 to 8 but say invalid option. See my screen shot

Edit: I'm running it in Windows 10 1803 x64. I have Windows Defender real-time monitoring disable.

Choose the maps you prefer (TomTom, Here or any) and there you download the maps of the country you are interested in AND the WCL for those maps.

Thanks Calamorro for the answer. I don't know how I missed that. It is listed on the second screen after you select the type of map you wanted to download.

Does you also need to install the OpenStreetMap for other features that Sygic use? I read from another forum and quoted below:

OpenStreetMap is like Google Street View, just a different way to view the map. It does contain more detailed info but will cause lag on older devices. It is not needed however on some versions if not installed it will crash the main program and you will need to restart and re-enter your course.
Edit: Thanks also to asprin624 for the answer with the screen shot. I didn't see yours earlier.
