    For a power user editing the settings.ini is one thing. But if you take the time to read all the screw up user's do by not reading the install instructions this would be the very last thing for any normal user to even edit much less know what they are doing.

    I have been a programmers for 35 years and have looked at all these files and have found it is not worth my time to edit them.
    I am is the app all the time so if I need to make a change the info is right in front of my nose.
    And no chance to screw up the settings.ini or any other file.
    Then have to uninstall the app and all folder and start over.

    If they say clean install then do a clean install when it comes to beta versions.

    If you want to do the editing that is fine but keep in mind all the mistakes users do by not reading the install instructions......

    Have a nice day.......

    @spyder: Thank you, i will try that. Are you sure the content file is the same for all map providers? Also, i actually own a license for sygic (worldwide With traffic), so is there a way to download the OSM maps within the app? It seems to always download the TT maps only, no way to switch to OSM or HERE. Thanks

    so after all those remarks, what's your problem?
    you need that i delete my found about the changes?
    i really don't know what are you talking about.
    from version 17.4.8 to 17.4.9 there are only this change in one *.ini file the app folder within the zipped file (and to be more precise, also in serbian language).
    if you are annoyed in my found, why you don't simple ignore it?

    If You have regular licensed Sygic it's impossible to use OSM or Here maps. only TT v9.01 splitted.

    This is not the first time I install Sygic on the Samsung Galaxy S8. Sygic 17.4.9 stops abruptly.

    Maybe doing a clean install will fix your problem..........

    Could be a corrupted file or folder.

    Or the SD card needs to be reformed....

    Why do you want to change anything in this file externally???

    You can setup speed cam warning distances inside the app.

    This is NOT the same setting as mentioned by ElGringo:

    before ---> ;m_nSpeedCamMinDistance=40
    after ---> m_nSpeedCamMinDistance=20

    m_nSpeedCamMinDistance = "set acceptable speed camera distance from road". This has nothing to do with the warning distance that you show in your screenshot!!! This is is the distance that a speed camera is even taken into consideration for a warning (how far it can be from the road), what you mention is the warning distance, not the radius! So this setting can ONLY be changed in the settings.ini
