Default Importing POIs into Sygic GPS Navigation for Android ver 17

I have created the necessary csv file and converted it to rupi using the Sygic converter and the Android RupiManager App with the file called mypois.rupi

I have also created the necessary bmp file called mypois.bmp.

The help files on the net say that I must copy the two files to phone/Android/data/com.sygic.aura/files/Maps/import and this I have done.

The Rupimanager App converts the csv file to rupi and can than copy it directly to the Sygic App on the phone, however the Rupimanager App copies it to a directory called Phone/SygicInCar/. This I have also done.

When I open my Sygic App I do not get asked to confirm the importing of the POIs nor can I find them in the Sygic App.

What can I do to get the POIs active in the Sygic App

you need in Folder Maps/ a Folder Import/
here paste the * .rupi file and graphic with the same name (* .jpg) per country
at startup, SYGIC imports the POI and bitmap into the folder Maps / rupi / contry

! ** it is currently not possible to import POI into TomTom.Map with assigned regions by country *!

i donīt work with RupiManager-Android, i convert on PC. IMO the RupiManager has a folder preset, which one must first edit/change?

    Correction:

The Icon is a bmp file not jpg.

No need to use any importer programs.

Just go to POIplaza and get the poi's you need copy them to the Import folder both upi and bmp file.

They will be placed in the correct folder when you starts Sygic.

This is partially true. You must collect in a PC folder all rupi files You can find in each folder in rupi folder, then copy all collected rupi files in each folder in rupi folder. If necessary create any missing folder corresponding to parts of splitted map.

You can import POI's to split maps with no problems at all.

    Here is Germany:

    Spoiler: POI's with split maps

Did nothing special but put all the poi's into the import folder and stated Sygic.

Then went into settings and turned them on.
