    Android Make your own offlinespeedcams.dat

    Make your own offlinespeedcams.dat

    - Use the files (offlinespeedcams.dat, OfflineSpeedcam.xls) from the archive of the template.
    - offlinespeedcams.dat, can have additional columns, like for example "Comment", etc.
    - Columns (Id and Osm) can be empty.
    - If is the icon camera black, on your route, it is the correct angle and you will have audio or TTS notification. The camera is inactive if the white and means that captures in a counter direction of your movement.

    I have the following doubts:

    1. The latitude and longitude are integers. How to convert from x,xxxxxxº?
    2. How to get the angle value?
    3. What symbols will be visible on the maps?

Other problem is that in new versions of SYGIC no sound warning can be set for custom pois, like SCDB. So you just see them on the map without warning. How can we import SDCB db into offlinespeedcams.dat, so to have warnings?

It's not true whath you say about warning points in last new Sygic versions! You can do it by your own, just edit the info2.ini file, and choose what type of spoken alarm you want for speedcameras, Black points, Schools and so on. Anyway, don't forget, you need a TTS.
If you wanna do it, take a look here for a simulation, downloading Italian speedcamera.dat and editing the info2.ini file in your language:

You did not understand me. I'm not talking about offlinespeedcams.dat, I', talking about speedcams inserted into SYGIC as custom POIS from SDCB. See here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

These files go to /Maps/Import and then converted to rupi folder.

But in Sygic - Sound Alert settings, you cannot set an alarm for these custom POIS (options only for the offlinespeed.dat, speed limit, dangerous turns, train passes etc).

    Cheers

This thread is about offlinespeedcams.dat, your comment is out of topic. But it's a well known problem that "newer" version of Sygic couldn't do that, use old version of Sygic.
