    nens

everything works with NT maps including traffic

One stupid question: How come we have NT MAPS 2021.09 when Sygic Truck no longer needs them/orders them.

FoR whom are they produced if not for Sygic?

Sygic no longer uses Here maps but still buys and produces those maps???

Anyone who has studied the map correctly will recognize that TomTom maps are made for general traffic, including non-motorized traffic. There are a lot of bike / footpaths missing in HERE-Map.
As has already been noted in general, HERE maps are specially prepared for bus-/ truck-/ camper-navigation

Well I have never used Sygic on foot paths or bike paths.

The app was made for driving be it Sygic or Sygic Truck.
There are a lot of better hiking and biking app out there that clearly show the bike paths and foot paths.

    A example: Osmand+ for one.

There is a big difference between Sygic for driving and Osman+ for Hiking and Biking (can be used for driving too)

As you can see from the screenshot Sygic is not setup for anything other than driving.

You should always use the GPS app that fits what you want to do with it.

Sygic Truck clearly is for driving a type of truck and Here maps reflect that and now with TomTom Maps.

    sorry, that's not entirely correct.
There is also a bike and / or pedestrian profile in every navigation app
And there are very many who use google.Map (TomTom) as cyclists or pedestrians.

Yes, there are many biker-pedestrian apps that are specially designed for this (tracking with e.g. komoot.App). And unfortunately everyone uses the OS map - with a lot of paths that only exist as a beaten path or run on private property. Even very often stuck with this map as a biker.

IMO; so let's stick with what's related to Sygic, TomTom, HERE.

Not with Sygic using TomTom Maps

There is also a bike and / or pedestrian profile in every navigation app
Well you will have to show me how I can use Sygic with TomTom maps as cyclists or pedestrians.
There is no way to tell Sygic to take a bike path or a foot path.

If you know away to use cyclists or pedestrians paths with Sygic with TomTom maps then spell it out for the Users here to try.

And there are very many who use google.Map (TomTom) as cyclists or pedestrians.
As for google Maps I took a my sister and her husband hiking in Datteln DE from the Hotel Jammertal.
I used Osmand and he used Google and could not find anything on the Google map that showed what I had setup as 3 different hike trips that weekend.
He tried all different interfaces to get a clear picture of how we were hiking.
He gave up using Google for Hiking.......

sorry YES, right, with Sygic Truck (I only use this and only for testing) no biker or pedestrian profile is possible.

But still: do not confuse the pedestrian profile with the hiker profile! I cycle many paths to OS-Map, officially a pedestrian has no place there (no public and / or drivable path)

This is not entirely accurate explanation either. I mentioned in the post #20.
Namely, with the new edition of maps (nds, used both in Go and NDS software), TomTom has made a practical and economical move - classic maps are intended for general comprehensive use.
Those same maps, combined with online add-ons, are used for truck purpose.

    Edit:

    I almost forgot...
I'm not sure about Sygic clones or their other products (Travel Maps, fuelio) perhaps the choice also depends on the region.
In addition, they offer corporate cooperation (Fleets). It is not available on the Play Store. Im pretty sure Here maps are in use there.

    P.S.
There is another application that still uses Here maps also - CoPilot.
