I have the same problem ... how do I import items.dat from Sigyc v17 to Sigyc v20?

The answer from Sigyc Support for this question

    Thank you for contacting Sygic.

Favorites were changed in comparison to the older version due to the recent change of the app file structure. The app no longer uses the items.dat file, though it should've migrated all your stored favorites from the old app. To resolve the situation, please follow the steps below:

    1. Backup those files on a PC or other media
    2. Uninstall the current Sygic App version via your device settings → Apps
    3. Remove any traces of the app from your device
    4. Download the app from the link below:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    5. Install this older app version.
    6. After first starting the app, copy the items.dat file back into the app folder you found it in (do not copy the other files, just the items.dat file)

Once the above is done, please check whether your favorites are back. If they are, you can try updating your app now to the latest version - the issue should not happen then.
If you have any other question, or need any further assistance, just reply to this message, Iíll be happy to help.

It's better that you Proceed in this much more simply way: from the old Sygic version, select mený - setting - Backup and Restore. Create an account on Dropbox an login in it . Than choose "Backup to Dropbox"(in this way, all your favorite places, will be stored on your Dropbox account. Delete all an reinstall the new Sygic 20... version. Aftere this, in the new Sygic version on your device, select again mený - setting - Backup and Restore and press "Restore from Dropbox". So, all your favorite places, will be downloaded and stored on your new Sygic 20... version.

    bye Ingrid

    This method has worked perfectly.
But for this to work well, in Dropbox - Sigyc ... ... there should only be the "db" and "itinerary" folders.
I say this because if we have previously made a backup from the new Sygic v20 version to Dropbox, before restoring "items.dat" (favorites ) from Dropbox, we have to delete the "DBv20plus", "SPv20plus" folders and also the "version" file.

To Tomkkat, INGRIDMARE: your solution worked perfectly. To Tomkkat: how did you get in touch with Sygic support ? When I submitted this problem via "Submit a request" ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]), I got the message "Error while submitting your request."

I don't know if it has already been reported.
With this tool: maps.sygic.com (copy link in your browser)
you can make a route, send to the email in your device and start navigation with installed Sygic
