    Edited content.info with that setting and it's still not recognized so dunno.

    I got the app to work with mirrorlink in conjunction with LG MirrorDrive v1.2.1.2.

    @DPyro,

    I have read the reviews on this app LG MirrorDrive.

    They are not good at all.

    Plus this is no way to add GPS apps to it.

    So if you got mirrorlink in conjunction with LG MirrorDrive to work with Sygic v18.1.2.

    Then post full details as how you got it to work.

    For those user's who would like to try it.

    PS:

    The latest version of LG MirrorDrive is v1.2.2.7 but you need Android v7 or higher.

    Spoiler: LG MirrorDrive v1.2.2.7

    I just installed LG MirrorDrive and open the app you want to MirrorLink. It'll show the last open app on your phone. Needs to be a non-LG phone [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    @DPyro,

    Read the complete postings on how to get this to work.

    I must say it is hit and miss getting it to work.

    Plus the only version to work is LG MirrorDrive v1.2.1.2.

    And it will not work on any LG phones.

    For the user's who want to try this can you supply a link to LG MirrorDrive v1.2.1.2.

    Good luck to the user's who want to try this.....

    It is not clear if this apk works only for LG phones or for all.

    Before anyone goes too far with this info.

    Please take the time to read what is this forum in regards to the setup.

    Spoiler: The xda forum on this
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    In most cases it does not work.

    If you get it to work it crashes.

    So read and read it again before you try anything.

    Hello,

    I have Sygic working properly on my Head Unit (installed on the SD Card). Thank you all for your help.
    However, I see there is a little bit of lag when navigating.

    Anyways, the main question is:
    I want to be able to install the apk to the internal memory. But store all the map related folders to SD Card (or USB flash drive). So that the app can read all the maps/poi/3D buildings/etc. directly from the SD Card. How can I do this?

    Note: I know this was possible with Igo (text.ini setting). I just don't know how this would be done with Sygic.

    Thanks,
    ggee

    Sorry for my English
    On an Italian forum I read some tests a very good user with Sygic, and this user said it could be done but he didn't work much on this problem.
    the settings.ini file contains the following entries:

    ; In case of multiple platforms, when sharing of Resources is required.
    ; Path to folder with resources (GpsLogs, Icons, Itinerary, Skin, Sounds, Voices)
    m_strSetResourcePath=/../Res

    ; Path to folder with Maps
    m_strSetMapPath=/../Maps

    ; Path to folder with Content Informations (content.info, content.lic, footprint.info)
    m_strSetContentPath=/../Maps

    these are to be modified and then do a series of tests

    After downloading Here Maps and WCL, the mobile app does not "see" the maps. It sais No Maps Downloaded.
    Any ideas?
