    help Help with Sygic.

    Hi guys.
I love Sygic, but I have a problem that I am not able to solve.
I usually use the application in off-line mode.
Install the application following the instructions of the forum and it works perfectly.
The problem is that after a while running, after starting the application, a screen appears asking for an internet connection. When I give it an internet connection, it identifies the area and asks me to download a map. I download a small one, like Gibraltar and everything works correctly again, until it happens again.
I do not know if it will have to do with some kind of error in the installation, but I have reviewed everything, I have re-installed several times and even projected with different versions, both Sygic, BeOnRoad and Offline Maps.

The device where it is installed is a tablet with Anrdoid 8.1, installed in the car and is rooted.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Greetings.

Did not it happen to you that you need offline maps?

    4. Download maps from Sygic Store or use MapDownloader.

Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

Did you notice the map version downloaded by Sygic is same as the one you copied over? It happen to me and I check and find out that it's less than the one from MapDownloader.
Do not PM me with questions. That's what a forum is for.

    Solution is very easy:
    - create file "settings_overload.ini" in folder ....\files\Android\ (this folder contain files core3d.ini,keymap.ini, settings.ini ,software.ini )
    - put 2 lines and save:
    [RootSettings]
    m_bFirstRun=0
    - this skips first time region detection, downloading maps (but some maps + wcl + content.info have to be in \Maps\ folder - maps downloaded with map downloader)

At first I bought the Premium + Traffic version.

I wrote to the support of Sygic and they answered me that since my device was rooted they could not give me an answer.

For that reason, I had to resort to other "versions", and here in this forum I found the solution thanks to @gpsfree.

You think that if I buy again the Premium + Traffic version (now it is on offer at 9,9 €), and I do the solution proposed by @gpsfree it will work and I will have traffic and new functions such as trips, etc.

    Thanks.

Greetings and I have quite an interesting thing for you, how to make the traffic situation on the map comfortable. I personally have version 17.9.0 installed on Redmi Note 4 and put the traffic situation on the phone so that I downloaded Offline Maps & Navigation from the Google play store and installed and started navigation, had the Czech map downloaded and started it normally. As is well known on this navigation traffic situation is normally working. But it is necessary to reinstall Sygic version 17.9.0 (but delete it), but do not run this version after installation and you need to open the folder Offline Maps Android, then data and find folder com. android office maps and open this folder, open the files folder and then open the android folder and copy the setting2.dat package to the same Sygic 17.9.0 folder (the procedure is the same as in the previous case), but do it directly on your phone, not via your computer . It's a good idea to download Play File Manager + from Google, it's a good way to do it. You can understand how to do it, I have it tested both on the phone and on the tablet and it works well. Maybe it will work on higher versions too, but I didn't try. So far and well.
