There is no file map.g in the Res\Skin directory that needs to be deleted. Just overwrite the map.dat file? This is Sygic 17.4.12. THX

    No map.g, map.q!
map.q files are created when installed program start. In installation pack there is no map.q file.

I have the program installed and functional. How do I proceed when I want to change the color of the map? Res\Skin is not a map.q. file. THX

Symply impossible. map.q is a save settings file and must exist. Maybe it's not visible, try deleting it with a file manager from device, or try only replacing map.dat.

THX. It works. But there is only a small difference in color.

It's just an experiment, first goal to eliminate the all-blue appearance.

Hi. I have 17.4.13 working, but do not have a map.dat file. However, I have two map.q files. One in the Res/skin folder, and one in the Res/skin/override_nui folder. Which do I replace, or where do I put the map.dat file?
I know in days gone by, there were two or three map colour (map.dat? can't remember) files that we could overwrite to give a grey, green, or darker green look to the maps. Sygic is good, but needs more map colour, like we can change colours in iGO, etc. Cheers.

It's simply impossible You don't have map.dat file in Res/skin, maybe it's invisible in your system. Search it with a file manager from device.

    Default Map colors Sygic 17.x.x

I have installed Sygic 17.4.14. Map.dat I overwrite and delete map.q. After restart tlf. and running Sygic again created map.q but the color of the map is a great difference from the original one. That's why I asked the screen to compare my view.
