It's too heavy work, that requires investigations and tests, it takes too much time.

I did not mean all colors e.g. only the navigation lane color to be changed from blue to purple. Do you think this single color change could be done by you?

At the moment it's impossible for me. Route color isn't map color.

OK I understand, thanks a lot for your answer.
There are so many Sygiy users complaining about these Sygic colors I can not understand why Sygic do not improves the color like in the older versions or in truck and car versions.
And Google navigation will come now also with speedcam notification for free ... but still I like to use Sygic

    @joxsi,

Most GPS app's are using these colors.

Yes Sygic has 3 apps that use the old color setup.

But the bottom line here is that when driving you are not looking at your smartphone and the map all the time.

You are paying attention to the cars and trucks around you.

The only time you need to look at the map if at all is when it is telling you to take the next exit or stay to the left when a highway splits.

Then you take a quick look at your smartphone screen if you even need to do that.

    Hi spider,

Is it possible to make a color map like the color before white 'snow' version..? I think the green color that you make is too contrast (at least for me).
I like this older sygic color. Land is brown, park is green, street is grey, big street is yellow/orange. The contrast is nice, and also looks very good. here is the example (from sygic 16.1.8)

Btw, the traffic line in your map.dat is very thin, almost cannot be seen. Can you make it thicker?

Many people protested for the "winter edition", and I certainly will not work for it. Perhaps you are right about contrast, I will provide later. Work is long and it need to make the decision to do it. Anyway color topic is not closed.

    EDIT
    Updated map.dat at first post

Do you mean too high contrast? or contrast in 16.*.* is good?
Btw, i read your post before you edit it yesterday. You said the map.dat 16.*.* is too old. Do you use old map.dat? I thought that you edit some code in the current map.dat
& thanks for the update. Traffic line is good now.
