    Default Real-time traffic issue

    Hi,

I've downloaded Sygic Car on my Android Head Unit. All working. Then I installed the Sygic trial from the store.

Suddenly I noticed real-time traffic started to work on Sygic Car! I was thrilled about this. Worked great. But now it suddenly stopped working. The little traffic icon on the top-left corner no longer appears.

I did the same on my Android phone, and same results. But the strange thing is that traffic still works on there. My phone was even installed before the Head Unit a week ago. Anyone an idea how to get it back to work?

Is this normal, or did I find a big hole in their app?

I would like to add, is there any version of Sygic here that provides live traffic option?

Your "head unit" have access to TMC data via RDS or online? Your android phone probably have access to online-TMC and that's why it continue to work.

Nah, both get it via the internet.

Anyway, I bought Sygic premium + traffic for 20 bucks for lifetime. Can't complain.

Correct. It was still working on my phone after a week btw.

Now it works on both devices (but not at the same time!). This works great now. Especially with the forbidden extra roaming costs in the EU since this month.

I can still download offline maps via my PC and transfer them to my HU via SD or USB, so I'm happy with it.
