Well I tried the Sygic 15.4.10 it was an utter disappointment, the software couldn't find the satellites no matter where it was. Also it would had trouble importing itn files from ITN converter so much for My route App
some would load others disappeared in cyberspace or got lost in translation. So I uninstalled the thing and installed Map factor it works even better and it can find the sat's and I can use Map marker to plan a route.
That is a very good question.
The New UI interface has been a hit and miss since it came on the market back in June 2014.
I do not see a light at the end of the tunnel any time soon for a final stable version.
Some things work other things do not work.
That all depends on what version you are using.
What phone you have or Tablet.
What version android you are using.
If your phone or tablet is rooted or not.
The list goes on and on.
Some user say the last version is good others say v15.4.10
Problem is there is no one version that is working the way a GPS app should at this time.
I still use v14.3.4 of the old user interface. I fine it to very stable for what I use it for.
It is very user friendly.
But you can not get any new maps for it.
The last one that will work is TomTom 2015.03
The new maps will not work on this version.
I fine this a big mistake on the part of Sygic.
So there you have it.......
Good luck with whatever you end up with.
Oh, yeah...ITF Converter will export itn files in three different Sygic formats. The one I use is Sygic 13 & 14 and that one works well for me. Not for you?
Taking another look at Sygic 15.4.6 but when I open Res folder there's no "itinerary folder" to paste the ITN what do I do with it?
: so after all my whining about not finding the itinerary folder it suddenly surfaces, honest it was not there before. I will never ever get my mind around this android O/S it defies logic. So all is good again. My Route App and ITN converter are back in service, routes are being imported to Sygic. So why couldn't these GPS software people put some voice interactive features on software like Sygic. (eg.) "you have missed a waypoint, or you have not traveled over a portion of your route" "do you want to back track"? i'm sure that technology is available.
