Mabias dropped a match and now we have a bushfire. A quick local survey of various neighbours and their household pets confirms to me that there's no confusion caused when using a unit of mass such as kilos, pounds or stones [albeit incorrectly] to describe 'weight', however using the correct unit [i.e. Newtons] does result in my receiving more than triple the number of strange looks i'm usually afforded. Even less ppl [and cats] care about whether forum users know why they've been banned or carded. Dogs generally don't even know what an infraction is and caged birds seem oblivious to questioning. Don't even get me started on goldfish .......

New [OT] subject: How come every time Osiris and i are in the same thread it ends up as a complete schemozzle? I blame him. I'm sorely tempted to attach a quiz here.

Account, I'm not so bad to ban the IP.
Banning an IP is not a good move unless it's a static/fixed IP and in some cases is not good too.
We risk to ban an entire zone somewhere in the world ;)

Actually, wot you call 'jumbo shrimp' [that's an oxymoron] are called prawns over here but OZ Tourism had to roll on that 'cos they were told unless from Louisiana and surrounds most of you blokes wouldn't have had a flaming' clue wot Paul meant if he'd said "We'll throw another prawn on the barbie" [you'd just think it was some kinda kinky doll desecration i 'spose. ;)].

Anyway, we rarely [if ever] BBQ prawns in OZ. Mostly we buy them cooked and chilled, and just peel 'em and eat 'em cold with a little dip in seafood sauce optional. If i was going to barbeque them, i'd buy some green [uncooked] big-assed Kings, peel but leave the tail on them [handy to hold] and flash them both sides on a very hot plate with lots of fresh crushed garlic or maybe marinate them first. Saying over here 'Throw another shrimp on the barbie' in any NA accent would likely get you a close-up view of whether our toilets do indeed swirl clockwise in the southern hemisphere, accompanied by much hooting of "Lick the bowl Seppo!" [most Aussies don't like Yanks as much as i do unfortunately].

I hate those that report links and stupid file server that blindly deletes them. I see many cases where the original creator that posted them then they are deleted because of copyright violation reporting.

In "Cajun land" they don't eat prawn but crawfish* (or crawdad) boiled, I don't really care for them since I don't like seafood**. I only like chicken/sausage gumbo.

* nasty mud dwelling red shrimp size with pincher claws.
** unless mom makes them...large, cleaned and deep fried with onion batter, yummy!
