Something wrong in your original installation then. The Maps folder in the MapInstall program folder should have been created automatically and by default contain only the Global Application Basemap which is not selectable in the dropdown map list. Regardless, even without the default basemap MapInstall should been able to find the usual default 'Maps' folder elsewhere on the drive. Probably reinstalling will fix this.
I am sorry. My Norton Internet Security 2013 advises this file .RAR has a threat inside. My OS is XP SP3.
False alarm :the file is clean, Norton gives alarm for any file which contains the word cr ack ,patch , keygen etc coz unable to scan compressed .exe file.Quote:

Whats wrong?
I have installed Basecamp after bying Zumo 350LM (Lifetime Maps) but I like to "test" Recreational Map of Europe in my device before maybe bying it.. Thats why I thought I need to patch my Basecamp to be able putting the Recr.map into Basecamp.
But it ended up this way.. Hmm..
read the thread, this matter has been discussed already and solved
I think the links are broken:
"This webpage is not available"

"Failed - Network error"
Or am I being dumb?
Links both OK - tested.
Could this be a firewall/antivirus/ISP issue at my end (possibly related to the (spurious) virus mentioned earlier in the thread?)?
Zippyshare has worked well for everything else today, just not for this.
file is clean , you can disable it for a moment or download patched .exe from Basecamp thread and replace it in Basecamp directory
