FID, PID and CP values are not defined for the gmap3d.img files?!

P.S. For the sake of completeness would be nice to add a Tab to unlock MS mapset and gmap ...

As there is no .TYP subfile, i don't get FID, PID and CP .. Will add detection of more subfile to get that information.

Where do you get information about IMG format?
Also if you need, here is a C# source code for getting PID and FID from MPS subfile and encoding from MDR subfile.
The algorithm was taken from a perl script by liosha.

FID, PID, etc. are everywhere in an img file; MPS has them, TYP has them, etc. Usually they are set to the same set of values in a map product. But I do see them set differently in some early MSM maps, trying to mislead people using the wrong IDs for keygen. So other than that rare case, you should be able to pick a consistent set of IDs to display for a single map product.

But if an img file contains multiple products, each with its own set of IDs, you will have trouble to display all sets of IDs with your current GUI. What GMapTool does is to print them in a list instead, one line for each map tile or subfile.

My recommendation is the following method.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

It works under all conditions. All you need to do is: open the .tdb file, change the lock bit, recalculate the checksum, save the file. No need to change the img or gmp file of each tile.

That's exactly what I thought to do, as I've read your post sometime ago.
