Sorry, but I still can't understand why would someone need this?
There are often only unlock code in any source without map files. For example, factory preprogrammed maps. So you can see that maps was in device when it had sold. I do not say about check order in mountain of dust. Some time it is very difficult to remember for what UC was created.
wp3gi, I completely agree with you. Many forum member would like to have Jetmouse keygen with Expiry Period functionality added. However, it seems highly unlikely that Jetmouse will do it (in my opinion).. Pity :(Quote:

@Cnfhbr. I guess you meant what is the practical USE of unlock codes with expiration? wp3gi ' s reason is "JetMouse 1.5 has no way to set an expiration date on the keys it generates so that means that JetMouse cannot be used to generate the Premium Ad-Free Subscription Code."Quote:

My reason is to make someone who gets maps I made in MPC to go to certain website and get newer version periodically. This is done to remind people that newer and BETTER version of map is available and it can be downloaded at regular location. If some one prefers to use old version he/she can simply apply Garmin Unlocker. So I can not see anything wrong in my actions (except for Garmin proprietary rights :)).
@Cnfhbr & Superduper67. I just to make couple of more clarifications. Regarding "So you want to sell those maps periodically, via limiting the period of functionality?" - if someone wishes to sell maps (i.e. proprietary or self-made NT img and gpi files) then this person is more likely to use regular unl codes instead of unl-code with Expiry period. The reasons are simple, just give it a thought. Person who requests technology (e.g., modified Jetmouse keygen) to produce unl codes with Expiry period is less likely to "crippling somebody's device on purpose" than person who produces regular unl codes for img and gpi files.
Any sales manager who worked in the area of maps/navigation and cartography products would agree on this statement, I think.
I have nothing against original Jetmouse keygen, bot with emergence on Garmin Unlocker it seems that Jetmouse keygen can be used to produce maps (img format) for sale, whereas Garmin Unlocker blocks this option, since the map can be used on any device even by inexperienced users. Still Jetmouse keygen is posted at Noeman and everybody seems happy with this excellent software.
Theoretically (I am not suggesting anything!!) if this forum would like to promote FREE distribution of cra cked Garmin maps (as opposed to any commercial map products), than it can withdraw Jetmouse keygen from its website. Producing another version of Garmin Unlocker that will unlock not ony img, but gpi files also, will also promote FREE distribution of cra cked Garmin maps. As far as I know Garmin Unlocker works on img files for now :( Thank you for your ideas and consideration.
