Default city nav europe 2010.2 on a 62st

Could someone explain a thing from a stupid owner. Schould I first choice maps from MapSource, send them to my 62ST and then go in to storage card and copy the gmapsupp.img file put them in a new map in computer together with the program, start converting and then I get a new file wich ending "lock". Scould I take the old file away from the card before I put the new one in? I have also a ending file in Garmin device, I little afraid to take this oone away from device if something crash?
Cold someone write a correct instruction for a newbie;-)
In MapSource City Nav shows unlocked but unauthorized? In my old 60CSx everything works much easier without any stupid message.

patch Mapsource send the img to pc ( C: ) put it in a folder with fast img unlocker, run it, then put the img (not the "lock" one, the gmapsupp.img) in your sd in a Garmin folder renaming it as you like but with .img ext-- you can have all the map you want in 62s sd it's enough you rename them eg CNEU.img ,Francetopo.img, etc etc
