follow the above quoted line:
To get all the features availables you must copy these *.xml files in attachment in /Garmin
(example /Garmin/DeviceConfig_MP3_Enabled.xml)

This does not mean that every vehicle of that make and model will experience incompatibility symptoms with ecoRoute HD. @benny84
I think 7xx series is like 2xx. i.e. 2x5 supports ecoroute, but not 2x0, probably same with 7x5 (yes), 7x0 (no). Easy way to check: If you don't have ecoRoute icon in 'Tools' menu it isn't supported.

Is there any way to get ecoroute to function in Streetpilot 2.16?? It does have the ecoroute icon in tools.
Tried updating with WebUpdate but that doesn't "do it!"

Ecoroute works in SP. click on its icon and enter your data.
Starting post is old now Ecoroute is already installed in newer devices and even in Street Pilot

Just to clarify what I was trying to achieve - that is to have "less fuel" come up as a fourth route preference as in the screen shot in your first post. All of the icons do appear in SP 2.16 as you show BUT this does not appear to be "ecoroute" - rather it appears to be "ecoChallenge".

Τhere is the option for Less Fuel in Route Preference Menu in SP.
Enter your data (estimated fuel milage, fuel prices etc) in Vechicle Profile.
Normally SP creates 3 Routes if possible (time, distance, traffic) and sometimes a forth one (dark blue) which is Less Fuel by itself.
If only 3 or 2 are created, check to see which one has the fuel pump highligted, this is also the Less Fuel Route.
There is no ecoRouteHD for SP, so the Fuel Economy and ecoChallenge values depend on the Gps sensor and the way you drive (hard or smooth braking, hard or smooth acceleration, speed changes and american style speed limits).
