    This is a great Tool. Thank you for your great work. I am using Nuvi 3790 SG with Thai Map and it works fine. This also work on my Note 3 with StreetPilot.

    finally got my garmin nuvi 3590LM this week after wrestling with the fedex and paying customs fee which the seller didn't shoulder. but anyway i've got it now and have tried it.
    i have installed asian maps and jcv here but not that good of a resolution. i wonder if anyone had a successful installation of the jcv files. in mine it is being displayed but not correctly. i was thinking maybe because 3590 has a 5inch display but on the contrary, samsung galaxy note 2 has an even bigger display and it shows the junction view perfectly. any workaround to get this working right?

    see attached.

    I think you are using the incorrect jcv file.
    Use Jcv File like the one below example of CNEUNTU2015.20 (Split Screen , picture size 212*234)

    Nuvi 3xxx series split screen JCV
    D3048160A.JCV -2 RAR volumes unpacked size 393.069.828 bytes
    Code:

    Data JCV: length 393069828, name D3048160A.JCV
    date 17.07.2014 14:25:18
    006-D3048-16
    picture size 212*234

    yes, that should be the case. use the right jcv file but this asian map pack has only one jcv file and i guess designed only for 4.3 inch however, why is it that samsung galaxy note2 running street pilot with even bigger screen display works perfectly? on the side note, north america and europe jcv images are both working as they should without problems. it is only the asian map. philippines in particular that doesn't seem to work as good. while i am trying to search the net now if i can find other jcv file for city navigator philippines, anybody else have jcv file for philippines map suited for 3590 nuvi other than the one in the package of asian maps?

    @jackmawatan
    There are 3 kinds of JCV files and all Asian files are the third kind consisting of only 2 layers, see full explanation by syzygy in Post #29 here. US/EU 35x0 should be able to correctly display the patched Asian files as it will display pirate/copyright screen [the upper default layer] for the original unpatched files. In his explanation, he notes that the US/EU JCVs for nuvi 4x/5x are of the 'second kind' and the 'third kind' is simply a special case of the second kind using only an upper layer [the pirate screen] and a lower layer of a complete junction view image. All Western nuvi 4x/5x can correctly use all the patched asian files, and StreetPilot apps use the same JCV files as 4x/5x which is why your Galaxy Note 2 works ok. Screen size [4.3", 5" etc diagonal] of the unit doesn't matter, perhaps you were thinking of the picture size but that's not an issue here either. I've heard of the incorrect display of some asian files with 35x0 previously, I haven't any solution or explanation i'm sorry.

    You won't find any other JCV files for the map you're using. Not only are they map specific but also version specific i.e. the file from CNNT PH 2013.40 won't work with an earlier version of CNNT PH and vice versa.

    AFAIK, the nuvi 3590 (US/EU) supports properly only SVG Junction Views, not Raster Junction Views.
    Unfortunately, only Raster Junction Views are created for the CN Philippines map until now.

    @bipadoob
    Depends what you mean by 'not working'. Have you confirmed you in fact have the correct file for your unit and that it's seen by the device? Remove any other JCV files from the unit and card leaving only the PH jcv file in either .System/JCV folder on unit or Garmin/JCV folder on card. Press and hold the battery symbol on the top right of main screen for several seconds to access the hidden screen>Back>Start Test>More. On the Inventory page look about two-thirds of the way down the screen to see if the PH jcv is listed, if it's listed it's working.

    The are comparatively few jcv images. Do a simulation from a large city along a major freeway. Press the upper left corner of the navigation screen [the turn arrow] to be able to scroll thru the route. When you seen the words 'Junction View' at the base of the screen go bright press on them to see the preview picture.

    Now I see the problem, I place the philippines.jcv file on the wrong location. I put it on "Garmin nuvi G: / JCV / philippines.jcv". I can't find the .system folder (folder options is set to show hidden files).

    Edit: Have been able to access the .system folder. Will put the JCV and gmapprom files inside .system with their respective folders.

    Edit 2: It's now working properly, thanks to sir @Neil for the instructions and sir @syzygy for the garmin asian jcv tool. :D
