    Default Carmint SD card issue

    Hello members,

    In car Renault Scenic 3,2010 the ovner taked out the sd card from carmint live navigation (ToTom maps) , put this card in other renault car, after checking the navigation in other car ...put this card back in Scenic.
    Now , in SCENIC,the joystik and all this middle controll unit near the gear shift arm is dead, and if shift the car in revers gear the scren stay black.
    I dont have any expirience with the Renault/Carminat/ navigation.
    Can you help me? Thanks in advanced.

    I hardly believe that swapping SD card between the cars can cause those problems because the system reads everything from the SD and writes nothing to the internal disk (only on navcore updates). When he inserted SD card form Scenic to another car, all that's changed on that SD card is LOOPDIR directory which was overwritten by a new car. But the file inside LOOPDIR (ex3_loopback) is indeed unque for each car and it's generated automatically every time the system starts, but it has nothing to do with the system files nor with the potential navcore updates. So it cannot affect system changes when it was inserted back in Scenic.
