They are listed under "Extras and Safety Cameras" but they don't work (they are also enabled in the proximity alert menu) !!!
I tried with a route simulation and "real navigation" but they don't show up (i tried with both a fixed and a mobile velox).
EDIT: I found the problem....this crappy velox by garmin are far less reliable than any database i've ever used and many of the mobile velox in italy don't show up (i tried one in milan and it worked).
Problem Solved.

Actually Cyclops is a very good database, It is based on the database provided by the Camera Installers and to a lesser degree on user reports.
Cyclops is also a directional database and it only alerts in the correct direction. It also uses POI Corridors to warn you of moveable cameras.
Judging by South Africa database it is almost 100% correct.
When using Cyclops it is better to switch off home-made GPI files as there can be interference if the points are close together.

The substitution of concepts is very popular in France now. But Speedcamera is Speedcamera if it is named dangerous point...

Works like a charm but are those allowed in germany ? I know in holland it's no problem but when i used a navigon device they had the option to hide the camera part.

Germany no problem to use speed-cams warning, France and Swiss are the country's to be careful to use speed-cams warnings.
I've be living in Germany 2years and never got any ticket for POI use on my GPS device.

Garmin Cyclops™ Safety Cameras and a Garmin StreetPilot 2720.
Hi,
I have a Garmin StreetPilot 2720 and I have to use the POILoaderforWindows because you cannot see the directorystructure in of the StreetPilot 2720 in Windows so it is not possible to copy the files into the right directory from the StreetPilot 2720.
But it is also not possible to load the "gpi" files in the POILoaderforWindows(You must have a "csv" or "gpx").
Is there a solution for the "gpi" files to load in the Garmin StreetPilot 2720?

No media card for SP2720 unfortunately. Maybe they could be sent via a DOS command if someone knows the correct rgn to use? Then the methods described here could be modified: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].
