Default Adding Voices in Nuvi 1390

I've recently bought a Nuvi 1390 to place my Nuvi 270.
It seems to speak the street names with some voices (Text to Speech?).
With some other voices.....no street names (non TTS?)

I've successfully added the KITT voice and Wallace&Grommit voice (by adding their unl codes)
and neither say street names, which is OK.

But I'm struggling with Pierre Pissant.

In the Nuvi 270 I just had to replace one of the 'English like' languages with Pierre.vpm
and give it a name like English_American_.vpm to try it out.
When I do this in the 1390 it just disappears off the available voices list.

Is the proceedure different for the Nuvi 1390 or do I need to use a unl code?

    Default Ooops

    Sorry......all OK now.

I had used a version of Pierre which I had previously modified to replace
the Francais-Canadian voice (I had changed byte 10 hex to 0F). I had
forgotten about this as it was a while since I had changed it.

Francais-Canadian is now Pierre Pissant and it all works fine now.

    EDIT:
I do have another question which MAY be related to the 'fiddling' I have
    been doing to the 1390.

In the root folder and in the Garmin folder I have two zipped files.
Different sizes but both are called D143400.zip
Is this something I have done accidentally whilst messing with the voices?

The annoying thing is that when I connect to the PC every time it asks for the
next part as if it was trying to unzip a muti-part zipped file.

    Default

Just backup and delete the zip files.
Then run Webupdater just in case there is something new.
Sometimes texts etc. come from Garmin via Zip Files.
They extract at the first boot.
Sometimes they dissapear sometimes they stay in the filesystem.
