You can lump everything together if they are of different filename. Use any folder name you want. Just suggesting a way to organize things if you have hundreds of POI files like me.

how can you make the garmin actually alert you when in range of a camera? i read somewhere that you have to go to tools/garmin online/speed camera but then it doesnt connect and ask for registration?

no you can do it, no problem to update speedcams

I tried copying the files to GARMIN/POI folder (US speed camera) and I do not notice anything in my device. Do I need to run the files thru POI loader and then creates a .gpi before I can see the effects?
