Default Touch screen DGT2 vs DGT7C interchangeability

I have a 2013 P208 which came with a Magneti Marelli SMEG LV1 HU (part no 9806729580) and a Continental EMF DGT2 resistive touch screen (part no 98053017).

I purchased a later Magneti Marelli SMEG+LV2 HU (part no 9814196980) and got it coded to my car and got my much longed-for Apple CarPlay.

Then I came across a totaled P2008 with the new Bosch RCC A2 HU (part no 9822730080) and I believe a capacitive touchscreen from Continental marked EMF DGT7C (part no 98120469).

I would like to code the RCC unit and sell on to another lucky P208 owner but I would also like to try and fit the newer capacitive DGT7C screen into my own 208.

The challenge I note and my KEY question relates to the screen wiring. The old DGT2 was connected with 2 separate cable plugs; a brown and a white.

The new DGT7C was only connected (in the 2008) with a white plugged cable.

Will the DGT7C work, just plugged into my old 208 wiring harness white plug; mated to my SMEG+LV2 unit or do I need an adapter OR will the DGT7C only work together with the newer Bosch RCC unit?

If I get the RCC unit coded to my car instead, can I just reuse my old 208 wiring harness and simply ignore the brown plugged cable to the screen, or?
