    I don't wanna play smart, but maybe the SD card quality could also make the difference..

    I can not tell you. I have not tried bmw or audi maps. I preferred to wait for the officers.

    @MacSlavko
    It could be that more BMW datablocks are loaded at once, into ram memory, than with PSA
    The map databases are a bit larger than the ones from PSA, so the size of the files don't matter.
    It could be that the partly loading of BMW maps is also related to it.

    A better comparision is with other PSA maps like the 2016-2 version.
    Because there is not much of a different between the two PSA releases, the loading should be in the same time.

    I have a R50 so if you find out which one file it is (if it is just one file) I can test it for you

    With R20h you don't even need this double database filestructure.
    You can run a straight copy of an original SD card too.
    That is what I always do too with my very old 8GB SD card, that was delivered with the car together with the original card.
    I got then the advice of the carseller to use always a copy.

    After some testing, I have noticed that v. 2018.2 for the RNEG system is slightly different form the same 2018.2 version for the RT6 units. Some roads that are existing on the RT6 version are not existing on the RNEG version.... At least I have found this difference on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina....

    Hi macSlavko

    I can not test it before 10th january 2019 because i am on holidays. I will test it after that date.
    I already downloaded the files and that went well.

    @spanac1980 & janch
    It could have to do with the coverage of Rneg WipNav. There are made choices by PSA because of the memory and filesize limit (6GB).
    If you look at BMW files that has a bit larger size, they have made a West and East release (each 6,5GB).
    Audi has a bit smaller West and East release (each 5GB) and a full coverage release that has a lot bigger file size (12GB).
    So the mapdata 2017-Q4 could be the same, but with less coverage there is less mapdata and less roads but smaller filesizes.

    Rneg WipNav Coverage detail:
    Albania, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M), Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic,Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom

    This I have found with 2016-2 release:

    Partial coverage:
    Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia

    The main roads:
    Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia

    I didn't found these coverage details for 2018-2 release, but the file sizes are slightly more than 2016-2.
