    Oh, you're right!
I just saw POIs on the map and thought they work (my mistake), but actually I can't search them with EA811Wa_L1.DB and EA811Wa_L2.DB!
So I trashed those two and changed back acios.ini to existing EX541a_LIT.DB file.
    Now checked and POIs work!

    Thanks for kiteeye's remark!

I downloaded the AUDI MMI3G High but I notice that there are two versions of the EJ732_v37a.gdb file in the package:
    HNav \ Maps \ pkgdb \ GDB \ EJ732_v37a.gdb 2,097.148kB
    HNav \ Maps \ pkgdb \ GDB2 \ EJ732_v37a.gd2 1.221.050kB

Do you know what it's like between these two? Except the format ... :-)
Can I rename the EJ732_v37a.gd2 to the EJ732_v37a.gdb?

You must use both files, because it is just one splitted database. Because the name is the same, the extension is different. Rename the file and extension and they works.
Audi 3GH maps has the biggest coverage of all HarmannBecker units. Resulting in big filesizes. The SD card is limited to 2GB max. That is why the databases are splitted.

    Oke, thanks.

Maybe a stupid reasoning, but could the order in the acios_db.ini file still be of influence?
For example, first the kN181EUx.db and then the EX541a_LIT.DB or first the EX541a_LIT.DB and then the kN181EUx.db.
I assume that the different databases are loaded in order of the ini file and how is that going to be loaded into the memory ...?

No, Acios_db.ini only mentions the path where to find the files, wich must be loaded in RAM.

The database itself contains addresses where the data is located (like gps coordinates, names etc.).
A splitted database has different adresses in the splitted files, that gives one database in RAM. That is why the files need each other.

This is also the reason that you sometimes got partly loading of maps, because the RAM can't always handle such big databases.

Unfortunately I am not able to do a complete upload, but several uploads have already been offered in this topic.
I wil try to explain the basics.
Because Peugeot-Citroen doesn't offer updates anymore from 2016, some creative forum members like irjlevelet has found a working solution by using the mapfiles from BMW or Audi.
This is simple done by replacing the original kN named files by the kN named files form BMW or Audi. With a small edit of Acios_db.ini this can be done.
Irjlevelet has done this with 2018-2 maps from BMW here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

After this, in this topic a lot of people have tried to find the best working combination of files, but this seems not to be possible.
It has always to be a compromize for what is most important for different users.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] has the latest maps now and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] the best working list of street- and poi names.
This combined with some Peugeot-Citroen files makes, not the very best, but most recent working update.

I would just add to this great explanation that you have to take into account importance (or not) of special caracters in street names - depending on where you live/drive.
If you use Audi files, one downside is that you might have strange street names, which could be quite often in Hungary (I'm referring to Szabi).
You don't have that issue with BMW files, but those are slightly bigger and can cause temporarely loss of the map on the display (or partly loaded map), and intermitted blue guiding-line.

I'm sure kiteeye and others would know the details...

If there are a lot of special diactric characters in the street- and citynames and you want these readable, than you have to use the old PSA namefile EX541a_LIT.DB.
You can combine this file with BMW or Audi maps, but can't search latest streetnames or Poi's that are added after january 2016.

I think that I have to repeat the choices that had to be made for best working RNEG PSA navigation:

    - For latest maps you can only use BMW (for now) East or West
    - Against partly loading of maps, you only can use map- and namefiles together. from old PSA or Audi 3GBasic East or West
    - For searching Poi, house numbers and postal codes, you only can use old PSA or Audi namefiles. Not BMW
    - For special (diacritic) characters you only can use old PSA namefile. Not Audi or BMW
    - Because the smaller coverage you have to choose between East or West maps, you can't combine them

    - Audi 3GHigh has the largest coverage for East and West, but this are not the lastest maps.
    - Audi 3GBasic has the smallest coverage for East and West, but maps are (for now) older than Audi 3GH

    Map release dates:

    BMW 2019-1 >> 2018-Q1
    BMW 2018-2 >> 2017-Q3
    Audi 3GH 2019 >> 2017-Q3
    Audi 3GB 2018 >> 2017-Q1
    PSA 2016-2 >> 2015-Q4
