    help Help Peugeot 3008 rt6 2.75 won't upgrade

    Hi All,

    Trying desperately to upgrade a peugeot 3008 (2013) from 2.75 to 2.86
So far have tried 3 different memory sticks to discover it doesn't like my USB 3.0 sticks, so now using a 2gb usb 2.0 stick which it at least sees and tried to check the media.

Tried 2.77 = fail with error incomplete or damaged
tried 2.80 = fail with error incomplete or damaged
tried 2.86 = fail with error incomplete or damaged

usb stick is formatted in fat32 with default allocation

tried with burning CD's for each of the above firmwares, and for them it just says invalid media (the same as it said with the USB 3.0 sticks)

Now starting to run out of patience, i would only like to be able to use my satnav with Postcodes (which i really hope the firmware provides?)

Been at it for hours, so please someone save my hair from being pulled out.

    Tony

hey ... I also had the same error ... and I think the best way to upgrade and have no more problems is to change the micro sd card inside the unit ...with a newer, bigger one

    Try a Better USB-stick.

Kingston 4 Gb USB.2.0 Format it in FAT32 CL 16kb
Kingston 8 Gb USB.2.0 Format it in FAT32 CL 32kb
Kingston 16 Gb USB 2.0 Format it in FAT32 CL 64kb

Do not use a USB 3.0 Pendrive in the most off the times it is not working
