Default Bluetooth lag and connect system update

Hi guys, my Peugeot 208 active has the default 7inch multi function touchscreen.
I notice that when I use it to stream music from my phone, I have a very boring lag of 4 sec. That's very annoying.
I was wondering whether a firmware upgrade would fix the issue and in case if you can point me to instructions on how to know my current firmware version and how to download and install an update to fix this issue

    Thanks in advance!

I was also reading this post: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Is there a way for which I can be sure on which firmware to install without risking to burn the system?
I bought my new Peugeot 208 Active in May 2017 it's the "new Peugeot 208" is that sufficient to know which SMEG should I have? Or should I check the serial in some way?

if you have a 208 produced after february 2017, then you don't have a smeg etc.
NAC is the system in the newest 208, like the nwe 3008

ok, but if I press menu to show the system information, I get back
    Software: SMEG5.4.B.R8
    CD: 26378
    Dated: 01-12-15

I'm sure that the car's model is the new one, the new 208. But maybe the production date is before february and I get the older firmware version?
What update can you suggest to do?
