When I updated mine from 5.4 to the latest version, I had no problems at all, you just need a lot of patience. I hope that helps.

    Hello,

    my current firmware(Peugeot 308 2013/2014) is 5.41.B.R4.
Is this the last firmware for the SMEG+ or 5.42?

Hi there, some update on my experiences for 5.42.B.R4: Up till now the only thing I notice that has improved is the connection between the central (touch) screen and the screen in front of the driver, between the speed- and tachometer. Before the update when setting a speed on the touch screen, I had to hold it fairly long (although it turned blue already to show it had been touched) before the setting also was set on the screen in front of U. Now, when the touchscreen turnes blue, the setting is also directly to be seen on the front screen. Other improvents I didn't discover (I hoped the adaptive cruise control had improved in reaction speed and in smoothness of adapting, but it didn't, it's slow as ever, car in front of me already on the output strip, cruise control still speeding down).

    Hi,
    I have a 2013 C4 Picasso with 4.1.B.R8 software on it.
Can I update to 5.42 straight away, or do I need to do it all in order?
Or do I at least have to upgrade to 5.2 before going to 5.42?

    Thank you

Yes, you can update directly to 5.42, as I have done on my car.

    Ok thanks.
    I wasn't sure because I'm coming from 4.1 to 5.42.
I though I may have to update to 5+ before going to 5.42

All the people I have seen asking this question have already got at least v5 on theirs to start with. What version did you go from?

I tried to update the system software earlier, but I didn't even start it.
The first thing is to turn off ECO mode, but when I click on the car logo, I only get one option. To turn parking sensors on or off. There are no other options there and no ECO mode.
I'm on the factory stock version 4.1.B.R8

I hope this button gets added when I managed to figure out how to run the software updates without risking the car going into ECO mode whilst it's running.

Does anyone know how I can safely run an update without the ECO button in settings?
    (Without going to dealers)

    Thanks

I think you have to have the engine running to see these options ...start your car and try again
