If this is Peugeot 308 T9, probably can help only calibration by dealer.
Yes, BTINFO works for me as well. I think the other BT commands are for the SMEG unit (on these units BTINFO displays the ECHO, GAIN, NOISE info as well), not for the SMEG+.

ps. I went to my dealer, but they had very little knowledge in the matter and were reluctant to make any configuration changes by themselves. They contacted the French engineers, who asked them to do a SPYSTORE and send them the contents. The French apparently said everything seems ok. So my car was declared to be just fine by my dealer and it was explained to me that I should simply talk louder. This took about two weeks and had to go to the repair center two times.

I have the BT issue on my 2013 C4PII (it was originally shipped with an early 4.x firmware which had a lot of other problems, but bluetooth calling was ok). My 2015 308T9 is fine with the same firmware.

These BT commands are applied, but you need to reboot the system to really apply it.
Follow it up by the command REBOOT.

There is a command that has the effect going the other way around, by the way.
    BT GAIN 30 = Softer
    BT GAIN 0 = Louder

Hi MaximilianVD, thanks for the info. I entered the command via semicolons (eg. BT;GAIN;0), maybe that's why it didn't work. So the correct format should be "BT GAIN 0", right? I'll try it!

    Thank you!

Yes, the semicolons are spaces, the semicolons are created by translating the alphanumeric codes from old RT4/5 systems to new systems into words.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (original codes)

P.S. by posting this website, i'm declaring myself not responsible for what someone is typing in to their system

    I see, thank you!

    What about the BTADC setting?

It said "allows you to change the ADC value of the Bluetooth signal (BTADC#sign(P(6) = higher, M(7) = lower)#value (-54, +12))"

I suppose that ADC means Analog to Digital Conversion here. In the old RT4/5 system I see an identical (and a related) command:

Set ADC gain for BT : BTADC#sign(P(6)=plus, M(7)=moins)#value(-54;+12)
Set DAC Gain for BT : BTDAC#sign(P(6)=plus, M(7)=minus)#value(-102;+24)

I assume that ADC gain (if it is related to audio, and not to radio communications) probably changes the microphone gain level (that is the only case when analog to digital signal conversion seems to be relevant), which means that this is the setting I need to change to fix my problem. However, I don't really understand the syntax of the command: BTADC#sign(P(6)=plus, M(7)=moins)#value(-54;+12)

    Hi,

Im on software update Smeg5.4.B.R8 is it safe to update to latest or do I need to do all the other ones that came before the latest one? I have also added some speed cameras and maps. Will these be deleted if I update?

And how do I update, I couldn't find a guide? Is it just to drag the folder SMEG_PLUS_UPG onto a USB drive? Any special format I should think of?

    Thanks!

    - BTADC didn't work for some kind of reason
    - BTRENAME didn't work for some kind of reason
    - ECSAVE did work, but I don't find it useful. The fact that the car is using less diesel in traffic jams with this function is just great!
    - HWINFO is useful when you're trying to figure out why some weird things are happening in the NAV, haven't have to use it since 5.41.B.R4
    - REBOOT is useful for some cheats to be applied without having to turn off the car
    - SPYSTORE, see HWINFO
    - SYSMON, see HWINFO
    - TUNERINFO is useful when you try a new antenna or to find out when DAB+ isn't connected right
    Hi,

Can you kindly confirm that you managed to disable ECO MODE (Stop & Start) via this cheatcode and that the value is persistent? I tried all sorts of combinations but after reboot the Stop & Start is always enabled.

I tried ECSAVE 1 and ECSAVE 0 (because on one forum it's was stated that 1 might mean OFF). The car is a SMEG+ system, C4 P II.

    Thank you.

    Hi all,

well done a great resource for these car systems.

from reading through your posts I think i have a smeg+i v1 unit [gc4p 2013 exclusive], my FW version is

    SMEG5.0.D.R2
    CD:25082
    Dated 27-09-13

Am I correct in thinking it is the smeg+ 5.x FW that I should use for an update?

Thanks for your help, I already updated my maps with your help but i'm a bit more nervous about the FW in case i brick the car....

    Trev.
