    @respo

    You have all my respect.

If the rules of the forum in which you obtained the source code forbid you from sharing it.

My comment has been for the reason that among all we could find the solution before.

    I wish you luck.

My personal opinion is that there is no source code for FW RNEG (I hope I'm not right)

I don't understand why you say this.
IMHO respo has no personal interest in just to tell us that he has found the source code.

    Hello,

My MyWay apparently has the rollover bug, but even after setting date and time manually the map shows the car in a complete wrong location.
    About 100 km off.

Any idea on how to fix that on R50.03 ?

Guess they wont create a new fixed version.

    Thank you

Try a reset and check the number of visible satellites

    This worked for R50.03

Removed sync GPS Date. Changed Date to correct one, 1-2 Satellites only.
    Rebooted (Setup, 1+2+3, Settings Reboot).
Left car running for about 20 minutes, got 4 satellites ... popped up to 9 later.

    Navigation and altitude correct again.

Only question is, how much difference on the manual clock is accepted before the GPS is ignored? I noticed the offline clock differs quite fast, a minute a day or so.

Hope a fixed firmware will be created though.
Maybe the one who got the sources can just change the reference Date, e.g. Week 0 not referencing 1999 (01:59:47 22th Aug) but 2019 instead.
I would expect its all calculated in reference to week 0's date.
Problem would probably be the build chain and compiling for the correct target architecture and platform.
Maybe changing it on assembler level works better, if the reference date assumption holds true.
Then there might be checksum stuff marking the file as invalid so it wont flash though.

Simplest thing would be for Becker to create a new fw, if PSA would just give them the contract to do so.

So thats basically customer care ... hey, we don't care to invest a few thousand € to fix this one bug by setting a new now correct reference date.

GPS coordinates are calculated based on the date and time parameters. If navi does not have the correct time set, all calculations are incorrect. Now it is better to forget about this navigation and use google maps

I do not see any problem with the rneg system, it is positioned fast and always correct, it is meant after April 6th. There is only one claim for the long calculation of altitude. You may not have enough satellites where you are. RNEG is a good system. I have no complaints with her.
