CE won't work on Android as it is a modified Linux
So you need a version for PC and one for Android, or Memory Maps, Anroizac...
Is it Ozi full version on both, or is my Samsing Tab 2 suitable for the CE version ?

Well, if you would do your homework instead of ranting you would have noticed a few things:
1. Androizic works fine with OZFX3 maps
2. I supply maps in that format and it is used by many people on Android and CE devices
3. Noone cares if Ozi changes the format again
The new format is to improve the handling of big files and multiple maps, called seamless maps - available to try for a few years using the beta on the Ozi website.
If you can't use OZFX3 maps than it simply means you use the encrypted OZFX3 format - which of course is only supported by Ozi products.
Using older versions of the Ozi tools unprotected OZFX3 maps can be created.
By the way: all third party maps meant to be used with Ozi compatible mapping programs use the unprotected format.
Of course products meant for Ozi Explorer only quite often use the protected OFZX3 format, especially when it comes to topo or marine maps.

could anyone post the old Img2Ozf utility that creates Ozfx2. ? (Not Ozfx3)
Added the old Ozi Tools in the first posting of my map making thread.

It wasn't meant to be a rant at all, just stating what i found..
I have Ozi in OZFX3 maps..They would not work at all using Androizic,I did read on his site there would be issues but buggered if i can find it again...Although there is no issue with them using Ozi PC or Ozi Android and its obviously down too there encryted....Yes it was Topo maps..UBD 7 (metro streets) i was told doesn't work with Ozi now due to licensing agreements etc etc..
Could you please explain what tools are needed to decrypt the maps i have,I would like to see if they work on Androizic,I did buy the Ozi Android anyway but would still like to try just out of curiosity...
Thanks

Once they are in the protected OZFX3 format there is no way back.
If there would many more maps would be available.
