    You can try the program, but I'm not sure if it will run or not: SirfTech

    Download it from somewhere f.e. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Pobierz program), rename to the same as the navigation, maybe shows more info about the GPS and finds the correct GPS port and baud. Don't change anything be careful, just adjust the com port and use the find baud option. Otherwise you risk that the factory navigation program won't find the GPS.

    No it doesn't work, I notice that the iGo program has to be cracked with the size exactly 7,270 KB so my unit recognize it like the one in post #2.
    Thx.

    This my first post to any forum thought I should give back a little. I performed all steps above and I now have a up to date GPS N-81acrd. The only functionally lost was PIP and ability to get to home page. I got around this by starting media player first. The guy Gevs interrupts right on time (I Installed the included speaker) GPS interrupts music to give command. I installed every link I found on this forum. Backup your original card using Win32Diskimager32 on a 32 bit operating system does not seem to work on 64 bit. I imaged my original using both MD5 hash and without, with seems to work better. Verify copy works as OEM. As near as I can figure the OEM maps are about 10 years old. I am going by POI that are now out of business. Also set a restore point on your computer before accessing any files on here as they are riddled with Malware. Make sure antivirus is up-to-date. I used the following in the “system.txt” file
    [gps]
    port=1
    baud=9600
    protocol=nmea
    I also deleted the save contents completely.
    The British female voice pronounces right as light as in “turn light at the next street”. Male voice seems OK kind of like having a butler in your car. When it comes up the first time it shows San Antonio as start point. You will have to play with it a bit. The satellites seem to take a bit to reach high reliability. Be patient if you have even yellow you are getting a signal. I have 8 now all strong. I had 3 weak at first I now have 8 strong. The loss of a little functionality (PIP and inability to reach home page). As stated above start media player before Nav system. Mode button on steering wheel also still allow switching between radio and aux but not tracks. I like the built in media player of the N-81 and all the functionality it provides. If you want the ability to switch tracks with Nav on plug usb into OEM USB in center console. Exiting Nav allows the full functionality of the N-81 to return. I could write for hours on the ups and downs I ran into. For those who feel this is a cheaters way to get an update I will refer you to the new HERE app for smart phones its free and blows away any GPS on the market. I just wanted the elegance of a OEM look GPS unit with updated maps I had been using MapFactors Navigator for Smarty Pants Phone another great free offline map program. Thanks to all. This all took about three days to figure out. I am retired USAF so what else do I have to do. Kind of reminded me of the old BBS days.

    I have this setting in my sys.txt file, still no sound, the 2 English UK files came with the igo not working. When I tried to install another English US zip I got black screen so I have to change again to UK zip file.
    Do you suggest any other voice pack compatible with this iGo system.
    Thanks.

    If you wanna get sound, first open music player and then go home screen(don"t close music player scroll down top menu and hit home icon) and then open navigation,.
