I'm on the same boat..I have Navon N760 stuck on loading screen. I'm sure firmware would solve the problem but I haven't found it anywhere..

Interestingly, all the information I've found points to the fact that the device comes with a classic Primo 2.0.
Why not try with any WinCE shell unlocker (mortscript or similar)? Is it possible to access devices from a computer at all?

If I could get into wince or main shell, than it wouldn't be a problem, but device hangs on boot logo screen and won't go any further. It's not recognisable in PC in any stage and nothing happens when I plug in USB. I assume that's because of the corrupted OS and that's why I think only ROM could solve the problem. On such devices ROM can be reinstalled from SD card which is triggered on boot but finding one is almost mission impossible. Device came from factory with iGO primo 2.0 loaded on external SD. It's pity that I cannot save it because It has really nice design and Primo works great on it.

    I know.
Maybe, at your situation, I'll flash device with available firmware (N490+).
But first, physically open device, look marks on mainboard, and google by them.

    Edit:
judging from other thread from this forum,
    MSB2.0-20120904
    HW:2521A MSB2521 GPS REV2.1
and google says that Explay SLS5 is similar or same...
But you have device at your hand, so compare them.

This way, I made couple of GPS devices and two tablets to identify like others, but working

Thx for the tip, I'll open it and check labels on board.

I gave up. I've opened it and checked the numbers on PCB and they are exactly the same as you posted (HW:2521A MSB2521 GPS REV2.1).
So I've tried with Navon N490 firmware which was as close as I got regarding available firmwares but my device does not react with it. It seems that it's totally bricked or it really needs specific ROM which is obviously very hard to find.

    Never give up
    You tried with "N490Plus_boot" file?
If I were you, I would also try with one of Explay SL firmwares, from 4pna, probably SLS5.

I have this device over 3 years in my drawer and every time I clean up my desk I'm tempted to repair it
Yes I've tried with boot file as proposed, but no luck. Anyway I'll try to find some other compatible firmwares on 4pna as there is the biggest chance to find a needle in a haystack.
