Default Anyone tutorial how to install new maps on the Samsung Evo Plus SD-card?

    Hi All,

I have downloaded the newest maps for the Opel Navi600/900.

However I don't know how to install them in my car.

    What do I have?
    - Newest maps
    - Samsung Evo Plus SD-Card 32GB from the Phillippines
    - Laptop with SD-card reader built-in and a Surface (for the Micro-SD card)

Anyone a tutorial how to install the maps for my car? I know something about changing the CID but don't know how and furthermore.

    Thanks in advance all!

    Hi.
Could you give me the link to download the map?
I am interested in doing tests.
    Thank you.

If I can't test it myself, I can't share it with other because I can't confirm if the maps are correct!

Before the blackout of the forum, I downloaded maps 2016-2017, but I can not open them.
They may have a password that I do not know.
Do you already have the unzipped CRYPTNAV folder?

    Hi guys,

Just trying to understand if the SD Card with a changed SID approach would work on a Insignia 2014?

Manufacturer says it's NAVI 900 IntelliLink v2.0 EUR/RUS/TUR - Version 2017 / Part number T1000-25161O and it's delivered via USB Stick rather than SD card. I'm not so sure though...
I have bought an original Navi 900 SD card - Part number T1000-24830 but this does not work, when I insert the card I get an error message stating the update file is incorrect/invalid.

    Thoughts?

if IntelliLink - update works only from USB

navi SD cards only for earlier models 2011 -2013 (Insignia astra zafira and etc.)

Copy the cryptnav folder to the sd card.
Write to the new cid to the sd card. Some help [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
Don't forget to check again the cid is the new you need. (you need an original samsung evo + 32/64GB card, many sd card are not original, or samsung closed the opportunity to write the cid at the new sd cards)
You need to write the new cid because of the head unit to accept the memory card.

How to change the cid (Card Identification Number) on the sd card?
You need a laptop with built in memory card reader, and ubuntu.
Open the terminal: (in the terminal you can't use ctrl+c/ctrl+v, only right click copy/paste works)

to install Samsung Evo Plus CID changer program:
    sudo -s (password)
cd /usr/local/src git clone [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    to tune:
    sudo -s (password)
    cd /usr/local/src ll
    cd /evoplus_cid/jni ll
    gcc evoplus_cid.c -o evoplus_cid

    to check the cid:
    (insert your sd card)
    sudo -s (password)
    find /sys -name cid -print
    more [paste] (e.g: more /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:02:06.2/tifm_sd0:1/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:0001/cid)

to change the cid (long version):
    (insert your sd card)
    cd /usr/local/src/evoplus_cid/jni
    find /sys -name cid -print
    more [paste]
mount (can be dev/mmcblk0 or dev/mmcblk1 for example)
./evoplus_cid /dev/mmcblk0 5d53424c32424d31013917ca53010400 (or you have to use mmcblk1, and you can use an other cid number, 5d53424c32424d31013917ca53010400 is not compulsory)

to change the cid (short version, if everything installed, and tuned):
    (insert your sd card)
    sudo -s (password)
    cd /usr/local/src/evoplus_cid/jni
    ./evoplus_cid /dev/mmcblk0 5d53424c32424d31013917ca53010400

(sudo -s, and cd... not always compulsory just if you close the terminal between the actions)
